A Look at estates, Wagons, and Avants: A Collection of Longroofs from Tnbusiness71
This collection of 12 Japanese-market wagons comes to us from @Tnbusiness71 in Vancouver, Canada, and features longroofs of Japanese and German manufacture blending performance and luxury with everyday usability. Some are models that never made it to our shores, and others are familiar faces with features that were never offered in the North American market. Either way, we love a good estate sale—so let’s take a tour of these excellent touring cars.

Cars from the Estates, Wagons, and Avant Collection will begin going live on Thursday, September 17, with additional lots being added in the days to come.
2002 Toyota Crown Athlete Estate and 2002 Toyota Crown Athlete Estate

First up, we have a pair of Crown Athlete Estates from 2002, so named because they are powered by a direct-injection variant of the revvy 1JZ six that was rated at 197 horsepower. We appreciate that cloth seats and wood trim can live together happily in Japanese-spec luxury performance wagons, and both of these feature alloy wheels and navigation from the factory.
2004 Mercedes-Benz E320 Avantgarde 4MATIC Wagon and 2007 Mercedes-Benz E350 Avantgarde 4MATIC Wagon

The W211 wagon is a solid choice for a daily driver, especially when equipped with the efficient and stout M112 V6 and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive like the 93k-kilometer (~58k-mile) E320 up top. The 2007 model below it is of similar spec, but with the peppier 3.5-liter M272 V6, factory rated at 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Japanese consumers often prefer their German luxury cars in left-hand-drive configuration like these two, which also feature the range-topping Avantgarde trim.
2006 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG Wagon

If, on the other hand, you find yourself in need of a little more juice, this black-over-black AMG wagon has a supercharged 5.4-liter M113 V8 good for 469 horsepower. While it indeed came to the seller from Japan, it was sold new in Yemen, of all places, and now shows 123k kilometers (~76k miles).
2001 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG Avantgarde Wagon

Perhaps you live at the intersection of AMG and Avantgarde. In that case, you’ll enjoy this W210, which hits the import sweet spot at 25 years of age and sports Carlsson interior and body components, including black 19” multi-spoke wheels.
2009 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Wagon

The smaller C-class wagon on the W204 platform wasn’t sold in North America, and that means we never got the beastie C63 AMG variant, either. This one is a right-hand-drive example in white over black, with 451 horsepower from its massive 6.2-liter M156 V8.
2007 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Wagon

Sharing the same M156 powerplant as the prior car from the collection, this E63 wagon was factory rated at 507 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque and got a replacement camshaft adjuster, thermostat, and cylinder head bolts in 2024.
2008 BMW 335i Touring M Sport

Enough of the Benzes! This RHD 335i Touring features a twin-turbocharged N54 six that was never offered in North America for the E91. The car was specified from the factory with the M-Sport Package and has since been equipped with a Supersprint exhaust system and 19″ AC Schnitzer wheels.
74k-Kilometer 2010 Audi S4 Avant Prestige

The BMW’s rival is a Japanese-market Audi S4 Avant, this time in left-hand-drive with the fully-loaded Prestige Package. For the B8, Audi kept their complicated 40-valve V8 in the RS4, and fitted their S4 performance wagon with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 rated at 333 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque.
2008 Audi RS6 Avant and Sepang Blue 2008 Audi RS6 Avant

Rounding out the collection is a pair of RS6 Avants from the 2008 model year. The C6 RS6 was sold primarily as a wagon, and only outside of North America, because life is cruel. Thankfully, these two have made their way to the New World along with their 572-horsepower twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V10s.
