“I’ve always thought the ’69 Camaro is one of the most perfectly styled cars of the era, particularly as an RS Z/28. @BlackMountainMotorworks did the right thing by including a number of side profile photos. “This car always stuck out with ONE simple metric that I read back when it was being tested… 50mph to 75mph, it beat out the Testarossa and Porsche Carrera 4.
I think we know a hybrid RAV4 today could probably do this, but in period it blew my socks off to know this.

“I drove a 2012 manual Fit for three years before I lost it in a flood trying to cross an underpass. They float extremely well by the way.
It was SO much fun to drive. It fit two bikes in the back with the seats up. Storage was best. I’ve not had a similar size car since that was as enjoyable. The Fiesta ST is a close second but the FIT had better (less) torque steer when burning the tires in the wet. It would get rubber past 2nd gear on moist roads.
Indestructible….unless you drive it…”

“Soon after we purchased our first house in 1998, I bought a 1985 Buick Electra Estate wagon. My brother was renovating our main floor for us, which involved several sheetrock runs to Home Despot. That wagon could transport 4×8 sheets with the tailgate closed, and 4×10 sheets with the tailgate flipped down. Still one of the best vehicles I have ever owned.”
