“I did the rear disc conversion on this truck many years ago. It was done using front hubs (bolt right on) and RRC /DI rear rotors and calipers. I never liked the way Land Rover cheaped out on the factory rear Salisbury disc setup by using the narrow drive flanges with short splines that strip out easily and short spindles with narrow spaced bearings… That’s why I used to do it this way, retaining the far better wide drive flanges and longer axle spline engagement, with wet splines. “This 599 is an earlier production as in the later production for 2007 the ceramic brakes became standard. Also, Ferrari jacked up the base price from $258k to $321k base price. “This is an amazing car, I remember seeing it at Nth Moto many years ago. Every S7 is special, but this one being modified to “11” by Nth Moto (probably the best bespoke high performance shop in the country) makes it even moreso. If anyone is hesitant about this being modified, don’t be. Whether it’s Viper, Ford GT, Lambo, etc anything Nth Moto touches turns out exceptional and their quality of work is better than OEM. Good luck with the auction, seller. Beautiful car.”
