“Great spot on the 2022 gearbox oil typo.
Our technicians during that time and during 2023 and 2021 records are all former trained factory Lamborghini guys. You can look them up!
As you can see both Motul and Lucas gear oil was used in 2021 and 2023, so I am very confident this is a “ShopWare” typo.
Our software system in the shop was very clunky until recently.
The former owner was very fussy, this is one of the best 1996-1997 Diablo Roadster examples we have seen. The car was…”

“congratulation to the new owner. as mentioned i am the third owner of this car and i am in many of the pictures with the car from the 80s. including pictures taken at Bloomington when the car was awarded a gold certificate. I enjoyed seeing those pictures again, have not seen them in decades.”

“Several years ago (well, maybe more than several!) I was offered a ride-along slot taking notes on the road trial of a 288 GTO which had just been serviced for a prominent collector here in MD. Midway through the loop, which was about thirty miles on various roads, we merged onto a local interstate at about 90 mph. The driver then floored it, the turbos spooled up, and at 90+ mph the tires chirped and the car rocketed forward, pushing us both back in our seats. I’ll remember that, always- at…”

I had a ’94 GT 5-sp. in Teal Mist, and whenever I see one of these pop up on BAT, I’m tempted to jump in and try to relive my 20s. Subsequent cars I’ve owned have been faster and more…”

“Transmission is an M6 presto-matic WITH fluid drive. 2 gears in low range and 2 gears in high range. Rumor is it 2 gears in reverse but I have never attempted it in my 50 Chrysler equipped with the same trans. Fluid drive is the coupler between the trans and engine which works as an early torque converter basically allowing to come to a stop without taking out gear. Most people start in high range (Where 3rd is like a 3 on the tree) and at 12-18 MPH you just lift your foot off the gas and wait…”

“A 2016 Ford Taurus SHO with just a 93-octane tune (often referred to as a “tune-only” car) typically gains about 75–100+ horsepower over stock, bringing it close to 450–500 horsepower at the crank. In the 1/4 mile, a tuned SHO, even without bolt-on parts, is capable of running times in the low 12-second range, often around 12.3 to 12.6 seconds.”

“Back when BMW Car Club of America was still young and Hoffman Motors was the sole U.S. Distributor, it was the club members who offered guidance to BMW owners regarding things to watch out for. One such piece of advice was to avoid purchase of BMWs with two-stage metallic paint due to failure of the clear coat.
Complaints ranged from dulling, checking to llifting and separation of large clear coat sections on all horizontal surfaces — hood, roof and decklid. After numerous complaints,…”

The shift pattern is no different than a floor shifter, pull the shifter towards you and up for first and down for second and so on. I’ve owned this car since 1976.”

He was going 80-85 down a country two lane highway. All of a sudden, we see a 928 coming up fast. He flies by us like we were standing still. About 3 minutes later we pass the 928 on the side of the road with a highway patrolman behind him. After the dismal launch of the Aztec in 2000, GM wanted to get make the best out of a bad situation so they gave them to every service manager in the country to “get the word out”.
When I turned 16 and got my license, we got the Aztek. Bright yellow if I recall correctly, and rather than the usual 3 mos cycle, we had it for a full 7 mos.…”
