“Gotta love ❤️ 84.9 CENT/gal gas on 10 JAN 1994. Seriously, this 2nd Gen (1992) Honda Wagon is virtually identical to the one our family drove from that year to 2009 with zero issues. It was the reason I got another white 1993, virtually identical to this one, on BaT recently to relive the best car ever. It actually has a little “Grannymobile” sticker on the rear window. GLWTA!”

“This 599 is an earlier production as in the later production for 2007 the ceramic brakes became standard. Also, Ferrari jacked up the base price from $258k to $321k base price. Significantly increased the cost. These cars are appreciating fast. F-1 transmission is a very nice transmission in my opinion even though general public prefers the clutch version. Good luck.”

“My Dad was a district service manager for GM in the 90s and early 2000’s and as a part of that we would get a new demo car to drive every couple mos. After the dismal launch of the Aztec in 2000, GM wanted to get make the best out of a bad situation so they gave them to every service manager in the country to “get the word out”.
When I turned 16 and got my license, we got the Aztek. Bright yellow if I recall correctly, and rather than the usual 3 mos cycle, we had it for a full 7 mos.…”

Gary Hall, whose wife used one as a daily driver (!)… told me to correct the odd handling , you need to change to larger shocks, change spring rates, change to stiffer suspension bushings, change tire pressures with radial tires. I did on my earlier car #804 and it worked wonders! My current cat #1096 has updated revisions including QA-1 shocks, springs and factory updated engine and transmission mounts. It drives flawlessly. “In the world of VW owners who loved their sporty cars in the 1980s there will always be Golf/GTI owners and Scirocco owners. I was very proudly the latter.

“These Z71’s were tanks! Had a white 2003 (ironically bought it from original owner in Scarsdale as well!!). It was unfortunately totaled when my wife got into a bad accident with it the day after Xmas 2020. Rolled 3 times, but that roof rack saved her as it remained fairly intact.”
