Round two for 2026 is in the books, folks. Our friends at BaT Local Partner Alara Garage were great hosts, as was the city of Houston—offering perfect Texas spring weather and a near-impossible variety of excellent food to be had.
Can we call @kobus a correspondent-at-large? He certainly manages to get around, and has covered (and participated in) events from Southern California to South Africa. Last month, he joined up with the Northeast Cyclekarts club for their annual New England ice race, and was kind enough to share his account of the proceedings. It was hot, it was sunny, there were great cars and boats everywhere–in short, it was South Florida in April! We had a great time meeting everyone who came out to visit us at BaT Local Partner Bullet Motorsports in Fort Lauderdale, where we welcomed hundreds of interesting vehicles and the families and friends who brought them out for the show on Saturday, April 25.

Which is more rare: a rotary-powered 1974 Citroen GS, or a brilliantly sunny April day in central England? These marvels, and more, converged at BaT’s first showing at the Bicester Scramble, helping to make the event enjoyable in every way.

That’s another BaT Meet-Up in the books for 2026, folks. Last Saturday was fantastic, and we can’t thank Local Partner McQueen Classics enough for the invite and the consistent support, organization, and good vibes.
BaT is the kind of place where attention to detail is appreciated. That’s why we were happy to receive this latest dispatch from @kobus about the NNL East Model Car Show. There is something intensely satisfying about these tiny cars and the ingenuity on display in their creation, and we had a lot of fun poring over his photo gallery. I have many favorite car events, but the NNL East model car show stands out. I missed it the last two years, so this year it was a must for me. It did not disappoint! If you’d like to compare shows, you can read my 2023 coverage here.
BaT events continue to be the highlights of our year! Since our first Alumni Gathering in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood in 2018, our events have grown in both variety and scale. To date, we’ve hosted more than 50 Alumni Gatherings and Meet-Ups, along with many appearances at concours, races, and other enthusiast events around the world. It’s always great to meet the folks behind the usernames and ogle at the broad swath of impressive machinery that tends to show up to these gatherings. Our 2026 event season has been busier than ever, and we’re cooking up even more opportunities to bring the BaT community together. We’re pleased to announce the next three events of 2026:
We’ll be sponsoring the 70th anniversary of the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance in Burlingame, California. Over the decades, the Concours has brought a plethora of vintage iron together, making it “the longest continually running Concours in the world” according to the organizers. If you’re attending, visit our big-top on the fairway of the Crystal Springs Golf Course, where we’ll feature a trio of enthusiast cars and hand out free giveaways. We’re coming to the Rose Cup Races at Portland International Raceway on July 11 for a BaT gathering with Local Partner @911r of the Avant-Garde Collection in Portland, Oregon. We’ll have a large area for enthusiasts to display their interesting vehicles, and BaT staff will be on hand with giveaways and plenty of good company. Please note that you’ll have to register to display your vehicle.
Join us a week later for the WeatherTech Vintage Weekend festivities in downtown Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. BaT is the Title Sponsor for this year’s Race Car Parade on Friday, July 17 and the Road America Concours d’Elegance on Saturday, July 18. Both events run from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and you can visit our tent to enjoy giveaways, great camaraderie, and a compelling array of special cars. We’ll also have a large tent at Turn 5 at Road America throughout the weekend.
6/24/26 Event Coverage:
The ImageStreetClassics team returned to Zandvoort to represent BaT for 2026, landing right back into our can’t-miss-it spot in the Historic Grand Prix paddock. The weather was, for third year in a row, unusually hot for June in the Netherlands—or so we’re told, though it’s starting to look pretty usual to us.
Few people are more qualified to cover the Greenwich Concours than roving BaT contributor @kobus, who has been attending the event every year for quite some time, and even served as the official photographer a few years back. He’s been keeping a busy racing schedule this summer but was still able to make time for this year’s show, and brought back his reflections on the event along with a wonderful collection of images. Enjoy!
May 30–31, 2026—Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, Greenwich, Connecticut
After 2025’s massive turnout, BaT was elated to be asked back to sponsor the Clear Lake Auto Social Society (CLASS) Car Club’s 42nd annual car show in Clear Lake, Iowa, on August 7th and 8th. Our intrepid staffers made the trek down from the Twin Cities Friday afternoon through what can only be described as “torrential” rain, but the skies soon cleared for the yearly cruise-in and ceremonial lap around the lake.
