After reading through and tabulating your responses, we’ve determined a winner! The Argentina-built Pur Sang Bugatti Type 35 re-creation emerged as the most popular nomination this week, and it was first mentioned by BaT member @VegasJeff:

Our question this week was: What’s the most satisfying transmission?

We fired up our laptops, dropped them into gear, and went straight to work tallying up your nominations. Manual gearboxes dominated the thread, and the six-speed manual transmission found in the Honda S2000 earned the most mentions. BaT user @paulkstadden was the first to nominate it, making him this week’s winner!

Thanks to everyone who participated! We read through your suggestions, pondered the semantics of “rebodied” in a few cases, and determined our winner. The Golf/928 mashup dubbed the Super Rabbit was the most mentioned nomination this week, and BaT user @caymanandwent was the first to it:

Our question this week was: If you could resurrect one model as a 2025 car, what would it be?

Many of you staked your claims on a wide variety of cars, ranging from sensible-yet-fun commuters to dependable mini trucks (remember when trucks weren’t huge?). In the end, there can only be one winner, and we’re giving the prize to the most popular nomination (the People’s Choice!), which was the Saab 900. BaT member @AsherSPG, obviously a Saab devotee judging by the username, was the first to it:

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We’re back to announce the winner for our Question of the Week, where our champion will rest on their laurels and take delivery of a $25 credit for a hat or T-shirt from the BaT Gear Store.

Our question was: What vehicle should have worn a turkey as a badge?

Thanks to everyone who participated. We mentioned that the turkey means so many things to so many people, and this week, many of you saw it as an automotive flop. After tallying up your responses, the Yugo GV emerged as the most-mentioned nomination. BaT member @caymanandwent was the first to mention it, but he—along with runner-up @SteveIOMTT—are both fresh off a QotW win. So we’re awarding the prize to BaT user @Bejarab!

Our question this week was: What’s your favorite convertible conversion?
Thanks to everyone who participated! Your nominations covered a variety of voluntary and involuntary de-roofings, and the Dodge Dakota was mentioned the most this week. It’s certainly an interesting specimen, but after much discussion, we determined that since the bodystyle was a factory option (though subcontracted to ASC), it didn’t quite meet the criteria. So we’re exercising our Editorial Privilege and picking the nomination that stood out to us the most: the E31 8-Series convertible conversion by SGS dubbed the Monte Carlo. BaT member @KB20A  mentioned it and will therefore take home the prize: 
One of the most factory-looking and polished examples is the SGS Monte Carlo E31 8-series.
