“I’ve always has a soft spot for first-year designs. Back in the day, car designers were able to accomplish things with their new creations that actually made it into first year production. These unique attributes were often removed or replaced by the bean counters in subsequent model years. The 67 TBird is a good example: compare the front bumper on this car to a 68 or later and you’ll find a beautifully designed full-chrome piece that is replaced by painted metal on other models. The…”
