“The 330 GTC has always been a favorite of mine. And the 512BB. When I was first working out of college in the early ’80’s my wife and I honeymooned in San Francisco and I dragged her to Ferrari Los Gatos, and there on the floor were my two dream cars, a 330 GTC sitting next to a 512BB. I remember them being in the $25 – $35K range? And thinking, I’ll be able to afford one of those. Unfortunately life intervened and prices for these cars increased but I was finally able to realize a dream…”

“Thanks to all bidders. I fell in love with the 904 when I first saw one in the 1980’s. I think it the most beautiful care design ever. Thats why I had to have the Beck 904. I started discussing the car with Chuck Beck in early 2020, and pulled the trigger in October of 2020. It was a 3 year build process, and I visited the factory many times during the build. My wife was involved too, and picked out the interior colors. I think it turned out nicely. Thanks for all the positive comments.”

“The 505 wagon, IMHO, is one of the great longroofs. They endure rugged conditions in Africa without complaint. The 4 cylinder engine is about as indestructible as they get. Cargo capacity is unmatched. Yet the ride is so so comfy. Best seats anywhere. The video shows it off well.”

“When I scroll BaT, I’ve always held out hope I’d come across two cars: my dad’s ‘66 E Type, and this car. I sold this car to the current seller. Bought when I was 14, restored it, drove it through high school and into young married life. Sold it when I was broke with a growing family to support. Broke my heart to sell it, but clearly I sold to the right individual. Car looks absolutely amazing. I’ll start the bidding with the last sale price…”

“Any compact two door wagon is cool in its own right and being a Stude ensures it’ll be the only one anywhere it goes. What’s most unique and exciting about this rarity though is the engine build. I had no idea there was an array of speed equipment for the flathead six, particularly to the level of a high compression aluminum head. Reading the attached Cathcart article (from 1999!) suggests at least 140HP from this little 169ci flattie. It’s got to be a light car, I’m guessing under 3K lbs…”

“I am the previous of this car and I knew the engineer that built the car. The builder was a very talented engineer and sadly he passed away. I knew the car and I bought it from his estate. The car is a blast to drive and I will miss it. The only reason I have for selling it is that I am getting old and I still have a bucket list of cars that I would like to own before it is too late. I am sure that the new owner of this car will get a lot of enjoyment out of it.”

“My wife & I got married in July 1978. We packed her little red Chevette to the hilt with all of our wedding gifts and drove from Chicago to Houston with only gas stops along the way. Took us 24 hours! After a few years the drivers floor pan rusted through. A sheet of 3/8 plywood cut to size fixed that. It was no longer the Fred Flintstone mobile! Also had a problem with the horn button. Every time we would turn the wheel to take a corner the horn would honk. NO PROBLEM! We would wave at…”

“The childhood memories are strong with this one! GM Design did an excellent job of evolving the colonnade coupes for Buick and Oldsmobile toward the sheer look that began with the ’75 Seville. The Cutlass was the best selling car in the USA in 1976 with nearly 500K units produced. A neighbor had one in this color with bucket seats and I was thrilled to get a ride now and then. This interior is bonkers peak ’70s — I thought the “geometric weave” loose pillow luxe upholstery was only available…”

“That fuse panel is as good as it gets for 48 years old, no wiring hacks, clean relay blocks, no signs of burnt fuse terminals. And all the fuse positions have the correct fuse in them, and fuse 13 is supposed to be empty. Gotta love the hand-painted stripes on many of the wires, these early cars are full of little easter eggs like that.
Definitely worth the hassle of getting the pics to instill bidder confidence!”
