“There have been a lot of good comments on cooling and radiators.
My Griffith was upgraded with all of the mentioned modifications but nothing worked until I installed a chin spoiler under the radiator. All cars today have chin spoilers, for a reason.
Regarding cabin temperatures, my headers are ceramic coated and there is proper insulation under the carpet, keeping me cool as a cucumber, even on the hottest days.
This is all for my Griffith but a 2500M is basically the same only…”

“Every time I get off of mine, I think to myself what a great machine it is! These also look so much better than the brand new RT, at least to my eye. For prospective buyers, it’s worth knowing that BMW pays for driveshaft service every 12,000 miles, with replacement at their cost somewhere in the 36,000 mile range. It might take some time for this low mileage example to get there, but knowing they service it free is added peace of mind. I’m so impressed by my 2015.”

“The Shelby Shadows are the one Whittier issue I never owned. But I did have a Shadow ES 4dr with the VNT Turbo lV which is even more rare. The variable nozzle turbo was magic, with low RPM response and torque to match the top end. It was also brave of Garrett to put a dynamic turbo housing into a production car with the vicious heat cycle. Mine grenaded when fortunately I was able to find a complete new one off the shelf.

“I would have seen this car take pole Vancouver Indy. Never missed a day of Indy CART when we had the series in Vancouver. What experiences! Those of us that are hardcore racing fans should count ourselves lucky to see have these cars run. I fear for open wheel racing with the growth of hybrid/EV. “I drove one of these on the Lotus Factory test track, a phenomenal car. This has the touring suspension which makes it a nice daily driver. I did not drive an Emira with the sport suspension but from what I hear it is still very streetable. I have a friend with an Emira so far the only repairs are software updates.”
