“My grandfather bought one of these new back in the day and got a surprise when he picked it up after its first scheduled service at the dealership. The service writer put “Aspen” on the repair order, so my grandfather asked him to correct it. Confused, the service guy walked over to his car and pointed at the “Aspen” badge on the side of the car. They walked around to the drivers side and were greeted by a “Volare” badge! “My best friend has his dad’s 240Z in this color combo. His dad died when he was young and he’s dreamt of getting it out of the garage, rust repaired, and running since. Sadly I’m not sure that day will ever come. This one… this is just fantastic. Wish he could have one go in his dad’s car… one day!

“Love this example. I also have a Piedmont Green Metallic E400 Wagon (more photos on my IG @ptsrs) and can confirm it is a wonderful family car. It also gets surprisingly a lot of compliments, especially from young dads haha. As the other Piedmont owner said, the color is incredibly dynamic. The M276 V6 is buttery smooth and has a good reputation for reliability.

“My parents bought a blue 1964 Wagon like this and we made two big trips from MN, one to Southern California, including Disneyland, and the other to Alaska. The Alaska trip was memorable for my two brothers and I. “My first awesome car! Bought slightly used in 1993, it was the dark grey color, almost black, and I put a 1″ drop on it with 16″ Momo 5 spoke wheels. Had a killer sound system in it and absolutely loved that car. Had it stolen in Seattle and recovered a few weeks later pretty much stripped out. Just didn’t feel the same anymore so sold it for what I could and moved on to a Toyota truck. Have owned damn near every Honda since then — Odyssey, Ridgeline, Accord and 2 generations of Civic…”
