The Cutlass was the best selling car in the USA in 1976 with nearly 500K units produced. A neighbor had one in this color with bucket seats and I was thrilled to get a ride now and then. “1998 Supras are neat for a whole bunch of reasons, but if you’re not aware they are the only years with the following parts.
1. Light gray colored dash panels
2. Passenger airbag has Supra name on it
3. VVTi featured on the 2JZ-GE engine (first time we see it before IS300)

“I am the previous of this car and I knew the engineer that built the car. The builder was a very talented engineer and sadly he passed away. I knew the car and I bought it from his estate. The car is a blast to drive and I will miss it. The only reason I have for selling it is that I am getting old and I still have a bucket list of cars that I would like to own before it is too late. “My wife & I got married in July 1978. We packed her little red Chevette to the hilt with all of our wedding gifts and drove from Chicago to Houston with only gas stops along the way. Took us 24 hours! After a few years the drivers floor pan rusted through. A sheet of 3/8 plywood cut to size fixed that. It was no longer the Fred Flintstone mobile!
