In addition, back in 2008 I pulled all 51 carfax’s. Even then there were fewer than 10 original owner cars. Two of which had never been reregistered, and one of those was known to have a supercharger…”

“A symphony of engine and exhaust! Given the size of the 440 (and 383s they also built), they were unable to fit power steering or brakes in the car. As show in the video, you can steer the car with the throttle!
As for the color, this is one of the best shades of green and suits this car perfectly.”

“As a Kia enthusiast (yes, we exist), this is the holy grail. The looks you’d get for telling people what this is make it worth any expense. I’d rather have one of these over the Lotus version, just for that novelty. The stock drivetrain isn’t bad at all, but I can’t help but wonder how one of these would do with a modern Gamma 1.6 or 1.6T swap from Hyundai. In a way you’d keep it “in the family” but really liven it up. I don’t think there’s as many purists out there for the Kia version anyway.…”

Married in 1965 and sold the Avanti get a car with a bench seat for our daughter’ s car seat. I have known where my original car is but have tried unsuccessfully for 30 years to buy it. When this car came along, I said what the heck. I’m excited to have a supercharged car and relieve some old memories. That is a lot of what the old car hobby is about.”

From RAII in 1968 (356 cars), RAIV in 68 & 69 (1808 cars), 455 H.O. in 71 & 72 (5037 cars) and the last of the Mohicans, SD-455 in 73 & 74 (1296 cars).
