“@RTCH having worked at David Hobbs Honda in 2000, when they debuted in the US. Apparently, at least for the initial wave or first year, dealerships had the option having all their S2000s fully equipped with aero accessories or non of them equipped. Not sure how long that lasted, but Hobbs had all the initial S2000s equipped. When the first ones arrived at the dealership everything came to a halt, all employees came outside to gawk while David and Greg inspected and tested them for about 30…”

“My parents bought a white 65 Notch in the mid 70s from people that had toured Europe in it. It was the car I finally passed my fourth driver license test in . I know , go ahead and lol. “I ordered one of these, a British Racing Green unit in NYC and put $25 down on it. It was priced at $6641.00. I didn’t inherit any money when I turned 21 like I told the dealer I might and had to release it to sell to someone else. It did show up on the showroom floor and that was the last time I saw it. I later converted the front of my MGA to look like a cobra… and then changed it back when I made it my first race car… This was in 1965.”
