“A perfect vehicle for Veterans Day! Thank you to all veterans!
Before his passing, I was fortunate to attend an open house at Jacques Littlefield’s estate where there were hundreds of tanks from all eras. He and his crew did a masterful job of restoring and maintaining these beauties.
I was wondering if this was ever part of his collection?”

“This was my Dad’s car. I learned to drive a stick in this car and took my drivers test for my license. He and I worked on it together and we would race through the mountains. When he was over seas, my mom and I had to drive it weekly to keep it running. both of my parents are in heaven. My mom is looking down at me, saying what in the hell are you thinking? My dad is looking down at me and saying hell yeah!”

In addition to buying a tested and regularly driven car, you are buying a top-tier seller. I’ve had the pleasure of over a decade of friendship with the seller and his is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate steward of his cars. He is especially fond of Alfas and I suspect there is another Alfa coming to replace this one. Bid with…”

“Thank you all for your interest in my dad’s GTV.
That car holds a lifetime of memories for me. I still remember riding home in the passenger seat at age six as my dad brought it back from Larchmont, NY — and him telling me to stop playing with all the buttons and knobs. Years later, I turned over the odometer somewhere on 395 South in Connecticut, driving it to impress the woman who would become my wife. And most recently, during the COVID years, Dad and I brought it to Giovanni and Kathy…”

“When I was a kid my Dad heard on the radio a promotion by Pitcairn Honda in Langhorn PA. It said, “come test drive the new Honda and register to win an ounce of Gold.” They must have changed their mind or it was a mistake, as the ad only ran once to my knowledge. So my Dad and I headed up to the dealer which was only 15 min away. I don’t think I actually got to ride in the car because it was to small. Then my Dad said he wanted to register for the gold. It was closing time and everyone in…”

Listening to the driving video, I can close my eyes, and see Dad, driving his car, that we built, smiling from ear to ear.
Thanks for listing this gorgeous car, @Stables_Group . It is gorgeous and sounds incredibly good.”

A few of the comments that stood out to us yesterday:

“Worked at Scottsdale Ferrari in the 90’s. We found two Daytona Spyder’s in an airplane hangar in Mexico. One orange, one was chocolate brown metallic. Both had the same color interior as this one. One had 3,500 miles, the other had 1,800 miles. Yes, they were legit Spyders.
The owner kept talking about stripping them to paint them red. I am unsure if he did but thinking about it makes me sad. From what I was able to find, only 2 were built in orange and 2 in brown. Sure hope they were…”

Now, most people saw trouble. It had a head gasket leak—a deal breaker for the faint of heart. But me? I had a mate inside the Audi dealership who whispered, “They don’t want to fix it. They’re tossing it.” For…”
