“In 1967, my dad informed me that he had purchased, with my savings, 1960 Falcon with 60K miles for $325.00.
While it would not have been my choice, I was excited to enter the world of independence from walking, bicycling and public transportation.
The 144 ci engine didn’t last long with my heavy foot and the constant diet of re-refined oil I fed it from our local Site gas station.
I found a 260 at the junk yard and that was a great improvement.
The original radiator did not like the 260, so…”

“Rusty Hammer had always known where he fit.
Thirty years behind the same counter in the same hardware store in Fort Stockton will do that to a man. He was the one folks came to when something broke. Hinges, pipes, doors that wouldn’t close right. Rusty had an answer for all of it.
    Until one morning, he didn’t.
It wasn’t dramatic. Just him standing in the hinge aisle, staring at shelves he’d stocked a thousand times, realizing he couldn’t remember why any of it…”

“My hats off to the builder of this 55. Seldom do I see a car that has had all the body work done properly. Take note people, when you take it down to bare metal you’re doing a great job and less likely to have a chemical reaction from previous paint jobs. With the body having a top notch job you know that the rest of the car was built right.”

“In 1978, just after graduating from college, I held three jobs, waiter in a restaurant, a raft guide in nearby West Virginia, and a luthier. I would work in my wood studio from monday-friday and then hop in my old volvo with my lab to drive to WVA for my Saturday work on the New or Gauley river, then back on Sunday for my 12 hour shift at the Virginian in Charlottesville.
As a 24 year old I had all the energy in the world. In those days the interstate had not yet been completed in WVA so I…”

“Hi everyone, I bought this incredible 850 with the intention on keeping it forever. Plans change and unfortunately it’s time to part ways. I have had an amazing past year with this car but by far the highlight has to be the road trip home from Calgary to Florida. Instead of heading straight back we headed west thru Banff, Vancouver, Olympic National Park, Redwoods, Monterey Car Week, and Yosemite. I picked up a mattress from Ikea and slept in the back the whole way. 10 days, 5,100 miles and 0…”

    “Who’s ready for a Story?
This Car is coming back to Maryland. My father-in-law was the Owner that bought the car in MD. A family member sold the car after his passing without us knowing. I have been searching for a white on cinnamon e46M3 for the better part of the last decade…. When this popped up I got excited. When I saw it was originally from MD, I thought there was a chance. When I saw his name on the paperwork in the old listing I LOST MY MIND… I am so excited to get his car back for…”
