“My first car was a 73 4 door custom. White with black vinyl roof and bondo fenders my Dad did with chicken wire. Slant 6 with an FM converter added that also picked up TV stations. Also had a 70 340 Swinger in HEMI orange for a few years. I have a soft spot for 70’s Darts. GLWTA!”

“………..calypso red 740i. That sparked a two year search for the “right for me” e38. I was very lucky to find a 2001 740i sport with only 27k miles, which is still sitting in my garage with approx. 30k miles. It still brings me back to the memory of the calypso red e38 in the showroom and the love affair continues.”

“I just want to say that this car has brought so many good moments to my husband and I through the years. So many shout outs……fun at car shows…..he drove it to our wedding….we rode home in it after. It’s been a part of most of our life celebrations in some way. He passed away this year and it feels time to let someone else make a memory with it. This Citroen has always been owned by enthusiasts. It was sold new in France and the second owner moved it to the Netherlands ( a Mecca for Citroens)in 2000. He drove it to the 50th and 60th Citroen jubilees in Paris. Somewhere I’ve got a picture of it driving by the Arc de Triomphe. I’ve got a 2” thick folder of service receipts from the previous owner.
