“This Montrealer is visiting LA for the weekend.
I visited the Peterson Museum yesterday, including the Vault … what a treat for this layman to see so many spectacular “automobiles” in 1 place!
This Rolls would be perfectly suited there.
@Dollycat3, cheers back …with a fine cup of British tea for this gem.”

“I have an extensive amount of hands on detailing and reconditioning experience with the W126 model over the past 25 plus years, and its so nice to see such a well preserved low mileage example. This is such a period cool color combination, and the brown leather is so clean and well preserved !!!
I would LOVE to personally own a car like this, but I would probably double the mileage within the first year if I did. Such a great driving car, and in my opinion the W126 is way up high at the top…”

“I was a salesman at the Dodge dealership one block from Ferris motors 1968-1974. Our dealership was NOT a high-performance dealership like Ferris. In addition to selling the subject car here. Ferris also owned and raced the A990 sister car to Larry Griffith’s car but the Ferris car was an automatic called the torqueflite tornado. Ferris and Griffith often raced togather as a team.Ferris sold a lot of race cars for such a small dealership in the town of 5000 people. Previously he raceda couple…”

I swear he could shift faster than an automatic! ! Car just shuttered when he slammed into gear. As I remember also circa 63 NHRA outlawed aluminum front caps? At the nationals people would tech and then go switch the entire front cap. NHRA got hip and would wait in staging area. With magnet in hand! Truth or consequence time!!”

“I was at summer camp so I was around 10 years of age when my camp best friend said his father was coming to visit for the afternoon. Something I always missed as my father lived in Italy and camp was in the United States. well his father did indeed show up and riding a Vincent Black Shadow! I was by heritage a motor head already. What in the world was this motorcycle, it was not a “you meet the nicest people on a Honda” which were taking America by storm at the time. When my friend introduced…”

Mine was not taken by first purchaser when it arrived at dealer. I had originally turned the allocation but took it. Early comments from an owner captures it. Fantastic sound, torque, manual, no turbo, compliant suspension, smiles everytime”
