He saw something in me (I was 14) and let me work on a very special Elva. It was driven by Mark Donohue he went on the win the SCCA championship in that car. “I have had many 105 series cars: GTV’s, Scalino’s, Giulia’s, a Spider and many Berlina’s. Years ago the Berlina’s, due to low value, served as donors for the 2L engine and limited slip diff. The styling is not a dramatic as the other 105 series cars, however driving them they hold as the best of the range! I love the 2L dash and driving at night…as the lighting in the dash is activated by a separate button…which makes the beautiful white dails light up! It’s a spacious comfortable fast…”

It was the reason I got another white 1993, virtually identical to this one, on BaT recently to relive the best car ever. It actually has a little “Grannymobile” sticker on the rear window. GLWTA!”
