“This is SW, this car belonged to me for quite a while. I purchased it as a 4 speed A/C car. It was extremely nice, straight with a beautiful undercarriage, which was the main reason I bought it. The Paint was nice but I am very picky so we disassembled it and had it blocked and resprayed. It drove amazingly well. “A United Airlines pilot that lived across the street from us when I was a teenager had a 12 cylinder E-Type coupe he bought new. Easy to look at and great sounds. But THIS car has all the modern goodies with no Lucas Electrics gremlins and all the modern upgrades plus a spotless and powerful Ed Pink motor. This would be the Jag I would own. Exceptional build and beautiful car. GLWTA !”

The dealership marked $5k off all of them on the windshield and had a $500 bonus commission for the salespeople if they could sell them. Now…it’s maybe the hardest color to come by and highly sought after. Interesting how things change.”

“Wow! What a lovely monster! Given there are more dirt roads than paved in Nevada and given the fact this truck has been driven 220K miles, it is obvious that whoever owned the truck loved it enough to take meticulously good care of it. I keep telling myself I don’t need a truck this big but every time I look at the photos I have this irrational desire to hit the “bid” button!”

“@200mph Garner actually drove while shooting the Grand Prix and in the Rockford Files. The F1 drivers at the time said that he could have been a professional driver and he drove the Firebird during stunts (ex. J-Turns) better than the professionals, so they let him do it. Even with 2 bad knees.”

“The rarity of the M81 McLaren Mustang DSO kit cannot be overstated. Maybe 20 were made in addition to the 10 M81 McLaren Mustang prototypes. Of the DSOs on the road, I know of maybe 5. I own one which is currently on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Added note, the rear GT Enduro spoiler is even more rare.”
