“I have an extensive amount of hands on detailing and reconditioning experience with the W126 model over the past 25 plus years, and its so nice to see such a well preserved low mileage example. This is such a period cool color combination, and the brown leather is so clean and well preserved !!!
I would LOVE to personally own a car like this, but I would probably double the mileage within the first year if I did. Such a great driving car, and in my opinion the W126 is way up high at the top…”

“When I scroll BaT, I’ve always held out hope I’d come across two cars: my dad’s ‘66 E Type, and this car. I sold this car to the current seller. Bought when I was 14, restored it, drove it through high school and into young married life. Sold it when I was broke with a growing family to support. Broke my heart to sell it, but clearly I sold to the right individual. Car looks absolutely amazing. I’ll start the bidding with the last sale price…”

“My Dad was a Buick guy and he handed down to me a 1960 Buick Invicta 2 door (2 tone blue and white) with the 445 Wildcat 4 barrel engine. Got 10 miles per gallon, “buried” the ribbon speedometer (120 mph) numerous times and was a “tank” in size…
My “first” car!!!”

“My first car was a 1963 Rambler that my uncle sold to me for $50. It ran forever — you can’t kill these cars! Although the vacuum powered windshield wipers would not move in cold weather, so in snow storms the passenger had to lean out of the window and manually swish the wipers so the driver could see!”

So while we were setting up Rally 1
Mike Z who ran the Saleen shop floor set up a red door complete with gurney bubble on a small dolly door stand. For display and option for people coming to have your door converted.
Of course vin 1314 / signature car owner / Me wanted it that day to swap on my red car for the event!
The door was display only because it was a blemish / defect door and not complete , hence the parts missing on this door!
I think Bony had the first bubble after Gurney…”

People obviously differ regarding what they want from a car, but for me, it really doesn’t get much better than this among modern cars. In addition to all the things that make Aston Martins special, the V12 Vantage S is an absolutely fantastic thing to DRIVE.
