“The 330 GTC has always been a favorite of mine. And the 512BB. When I was first working out of college in the early ’80’s my wife and I honeymooned in San Francisco and I dragged her to Ferrari Los Gatos, and there on the floor were my two dream cars, a 330 GTC sitting next to a 512BB. I remember them being in the $25 – $35K range? And thinking, I’ll be able to afford one of those. Unfortunately life intervened and prices for these cars increased but I was finally able to realize a dream…”

“Thanks to all bidders. I fell in love with the 904 when I first saw one in the 1980’s. I think it the most beautiful care design ever. Thats why I had to have the Beck 904. I started discussing the car with Chuck Beck in early 2020, and pulled the trigger in October of 2020. It was a 3 year build process, and I visited the factory many times during the build. My wife was involved too, and picked out the interior colors. I think it turned out nicely. Thanks for all the positive comments.”

“The 505 wagon, IMHO, is one of the great longroofs. They endure rugged conditions in Africa without complaint. The 4 cylinder engine is about as indestructible as they get. Cargo capacity is unmatched. Yet the ride is so so comfy. Best seats anywhere. The video shows it off well.”

“Awesome to see another very early production boss! Curious as to when it initially was sold. I own 2013 Boss 302 #0003 in grabber blue. I purchased it in March 2012 from Al Packer Whit Marsh Ford in MD. They had no idea what the production number was and of course I never mentioned it until after I purchased it, then I received a call a few weeks later asking if I’d sell it back or trade it back for another boss plus cash. I declined. I do have more miles on mine, around 9k. Drove it from NJ to…”

One of my best friends ordered a ‘63 Galaxie 500 XL Oxford Blue convertible with the 406/405 Tri-Power engine …By the time it arrived it had the new upgraded 427/425 Dual Quad engine..I can vividly remember the first time opening the hood and seeing those chrome valve covers marked 427-T ….I believe the “T” was for transistor ignition.
The ‘63 Galaxie has always been my favorite Ford, especially the
    “R” code Fastback version.”

Baja California and back to Sacramento in a slant six Dart? That is an absolute adventure and proof positive that these cars were built for exactly that kind of journey. No drama, no breakdowns, just mile after mile of honest reliable transportation through some pretty unforgiving terrain. That slant six was one of the toughest engines ever bolted into an American car and your story is a perfect reminder of that.

“It started with Rusty claiming he’d seen a tailfin where no tailfin had any business being.
“Back behind the Piggly Wiggly,” he said at the Rusty Hammer, red beard twitching like it had picked up a signal. “Down that alley nobody uses except teenagers and stray cats. There’s chrome back there.”

Driving the back roads around Elkhart along with the old race track is such a pleasure, little to no traffic, no semi’s. Life is good with a Lotus Elan.”

Truth be told, this 1964 Beetle is the last in a long line of Volkswagens I have owned over the decades. My love for Beetles has its origin in a 1961 Beetle my father drove from Newark, NJ to Eugene OR that year after serving two years duty in Germany. A buddy of my dad’s bought the latest 1961 Beetle but couldn’t drive it off the dock as he didn’t…”

Maserati’s 200S and Si were giant killers in their day with only the bigger engined Ferrari 860 Monza/290MM, 315 and 335 Sports able to keep up. The Maserati 300S and 450S were faster but never had the breaking or handling of the 200S and Si models.
This is by far one of the best and the spares package alone worth the currently humble bid!
    Cheers,
