A few of the comments that stood out to us yesterday:
“I know this car better than most, having owned it for seven years between 2016 – 2023 and being mostly responsible for the condition that it is presented in today.
I have owned three DC2’s in total, they are wonderful drivers cars, for the enthusiast.
This one however is truly unrepeatable, it genuinely is a special car.

“Way back in the day, in 1963 when I was just 14 years old, there was one of these for sale at the local Skelly station. The place was a favorite hangout for many of us early teens, and the car was parked on the side of the station. It was a dark blue, light blue, and white combination as I recall, and I thought it was the coolest thing on wheels. So, I managed to drag Dad over to take a look.
I thought he might also find it cool, as he was a car guy, and I thought maybe I could get him to…”
“Beautiful example, as usual from David! Love love love love the original paint and stripes, even with blemishes here and there that attest to its lifetime of soulfulness. The R50 is such a smooooooth sweet little bike, everyone needs one! Good luck to all interested bidders, these original paint beauties don’t come around often.”
