“When I was about 12 years old, my Mom’s cousin had one of these. He would load me, my brother, and two other younger cousins in the back with the jumper seats in the closed position. As he fishtailed down the road, the four of us would slide around on that metal flooring – back and forth, back and forth smashing into each other and the sides. Laughing all the way!!!!!!!! Probably not the safest thing to do, but we survived. – GLWA”

After the dismal launch of the Aztec in 2000, GM wanted to get make the best out of a bad situation so they gave them to every service manager in the country to “get the word out”.

Patrick Long was introducing this beauty in the hot pits at Laguna Seca Raceway outside of garage 12. “This is SW, this car belonged to me for quite a while. I purchased it as a 4 speed A/C car. It was extremely nice, straight with a beautiful undercarriage, which was the main reason I bought it. The Paint was nice but I am very picky so we disassembled it and had it blocked and resprayed. It drove amazingly well. After a few years I sold it to a friend so I wouldn’t take it apart and make it a restomod like all my others. He had a 5speed installed, drove it some but since he owns over 75 other…”
