Phon Kingphet Park improvements move forward

Work is progressing on Phon Kingphet Park improvements on Damnoen Kasem Road, where Hua Hin Municipality is upgrading the site into a modern public activity area for community use and future city events.

Municipal officials inspected the project on 9 July to review construction progress and check that the work was being carried out in line with the plans, specifications and conditions of the contract.

Jeerawat Phramanee, permanent secretary of Hua Hin Municipality and chairman of the procurement inspection committee, led the visit after being assigned by the mayor.

He was joined by committee members, project supervisors and representatives of the contractor.

Municipality reviews Phon Kingphet Park improvements

During the inspection, the committee received updates on each stage of the project and compared the work completed so far with the approved construction plan.

Officials also discussed technical details with the project supervisors and contractor to ensure the work meets professional construction standards and is carried out efficiently and transparently, the municipality said.

Hua Hin Municipality said it would continue to monitor the project closely and ensure it is completed within the timeframe set out in the contract. No specific completion date was announced.

Once completed, the upgraded park is expected to provide a more attractive and modern public space for residents, as well as support community activities and city events.
