Upon landing in Bangkok, the 26-year-old content creator’s body was transported directly to the Central Institute of Forensic Science under the Justice Ministry. The family requested this additional post-mortem examination to guarantee complete transparency and thoroughness regarding the exact cause of death. This secondary forensic review is expected to take up to two days to complete, after which the remains will be released to the family for religious funeral rites at their home. Specific details regarding the memorial service will be announced by the family once all forensic and administrative procedures are finalized.

The complex repatriation process was closely coordinated by the Thai Embassy in Ankara, which oversees consular jurisdiction for Georgia, alongside Thai volunteers and a specialized international transport company. The vlogger’s brother confirmed that the diplomatic mission had formally requested Georgian authorities to expedite the release of the official autopsy and toxicology reports to Thai officials, alongside the prompt return of the deceased’s personal belongings. A prospective honorary consul and local volunteer networks monitored the logistical transfer to ensure a seamless transition for the grieving family.

IMF hurdle blocks fuel levy cut, Senate told

Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik has said the government is unlikely to reduce the petroleum levy unless it can identify another source of revenue to compensate for the financial shortfall, warning that such a move would be difficult to secure without the approval of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Speaking during a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Petroleum, the minister explained that any reduction in the levy would affect government revenues and would require a credible alternative before it could be considered. He said the IMF was unlikely to support the proposal unless Pakistan presented a replacement revenue stream. The committee also discussed the country’s fuel pricing mechanism, with several lawmakers expressing concerns over the introduction of daily price adjustments. Members argued that frequent revisions create uncertainty for consumers and make it difficult for the public to understand fuel costs. Responding to the criticism, Malik defended the system, saying the government had removed political influence from fuel pricing by giving the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) the authority to determine prices through an independent and transparent process. He said the mechanism was designed to reflect international market trends more accurately. The OGRA chairman informed the committee that local petrol and diesel prices are linked to fuel product prices in the Singapore market rather than international crude oil prices. He said the daily pricing system allows authorities to respond quickly to changes in global markets and helps reduce the impact of sudden price fluctuations. However, some lawmakers remained unconvinced. They argued that the pricing formula is too complicated for ordinary consumers and warned that frequent changes place additional financial pressure on households already struggling with rising living costs. The committee also raised concerns over the lack of performance audits of oil drilling rigs operating in the country. Members directed the relevant authorities to complete and submit an audit report within seven days to assess operational standards and efficiency. During the meeting, lawmakers questioned the continued delay in appointing a permanent chairman of OGRA. The petroleum minister replied that the recruitment process had been restarted after the earlier selection exercise failed to identify a suitable candidate.

Hilaria Baldwin takes hilarious dig at troll after…

Hilaria Baldwin has found a funny way to respond to an online troll after initially misunderstanding a comment that was meant as criticism. The businesswoman and wife of actor Alec Baldwin addressed the exchange on Instagram on Aug. 8, turning an awkward moment into a lighthearted joke about her dyslexia and ADHD. Hilaria thought the comment was a compliment The social media comment described Baldwin as “vacuous,” a word meaning empty, lacking ideas or showing little intelligence. However, Baldwin initially read the word differently and thought the commenter had called her “vivacious,” which means lively or energetic. (People.com) In an Instagram video, Baldwin explained that it took her some time to read and understand the unfamiliar word. She then shared the definition with her followers, making the situation even more amusing. Baldwin joked that she had to search for the meaning before she could even become offended by the comment. Her caption added another playful twist, saying that her dyslexia and ADHD had read the word as “vivacious” anyway. (People.com) Instead of responding with anger, Baldwin appeared to embrace the misunderstanding and use humor to turn the negative interaction into something lighter. Baldwin speaks openly about dyslexia The incident also reflects Baldwin’s previous discussions about being neurodivergent. She has spoken publicly about having ADHD and dyslexia, including in her 2025 book Manual Not Included. Baldwin has explained that these conditions can affect different parts of her daily life, including reading, listening, focus, memory and confidence. She has also described how she spent years feeling that she had to work harder in school and struggled with the idea that she was not “smart in the right way.” (People.com) Her latest Instagram post shows how those challenges can sometimes lead to unexpected and humorous moments. Turning internet criticism into humor Social media criticism is nothing new for public figures, and Baldwin has frequently faced comments about her public life. This time, however, the situation took an unexpected turn because she initially interpreted an insult as praise. By laughing about the misunderstanding, Baldwin avoided giving the comment the reaction its writer may have expected. Her response also gave followers a glimpse into how her dyslexia can affect everyday communication. What began as an attempt to criticize Baldwin ultimately became a humorous story she could share with her audience. For the businesswoman, the mix-up became a reminder that sometimes the easiest response to an internet troll is simply to laugh it off.

    PPP takes LA-15, PML-N wins LA-16

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have won one seat each in Bagh district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), according to unofficial and preliminary results. The results came after repolling was held at 23 polling stations in two constituencies. Voting was conducted on Saturday from 8am to 5pm. According to unofficial results from all 186 polling stations, he received 20,793 votes. His main rival, PPP candidate Qamar Zaman Khan, secured 16,964 votes. Its candidate Zia Qamar received 17,019 votes, according to unofficial results from all 213 polling stations. PML-N candidate Mushtaq Minhas stood second with 15,127 votes. Pezeshkian says ‘now is the best time’ for Ira…

TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has described the current moment as the “best time” for reaching an agreement with the United States, while making clear that Tehran’s broader policy toward Washington has not changed. Speaking to media representatives in Tehran on Sunday, Pezeshkian said the United States had been pushed toward negotiations and reconciliation with Iran, describing the development as a success for Tehran’s diplomacy. His comments come amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States and growing international efforts to find a diplomatic way out of the crisis. Pezeshkian suggested that the present circumstances could provide an opportunity to move toward an agreement if Washington was prepared to meet its commitments. The Iranian president accused the United States of failing to implement understandings reflected in an Islamabad memorandum and points jointly prepared by Iran and Oman. According to Pezeshkian, Washington’s failure to follow through on those commitments forced Tehran to respond. He said Iran had established a special team to deal with the crisis and that the group was continuing its work. “We are hopeful that Iran will move forward with dignity, determination and pride,” Pezeshkian said, stressing that Tehran would continue to protect what it considers its national interests. Despite signaling openness to negotiations, Pezeshkian adopted a tough tone toward Washington. He described the United States as a “criminal” and “colonial” power and insisted that Iran’s policy toward Washington remained unchanged. The president also warned against what he portrayed as attempts by the United States and Israel to weaken Iran from within. According to Pezeshkian, military pressure and war had failed to force Tehran into submission. He argued that Washington and Israel could now seek to exploit divisions within Iranian society by encouraging internal disputes. Pezeshkian urged Iranians to remain alert to what he described as such efforts, emphasizing that national unity was particularly important at the current stage. He called on the Iranian public to stand together to safeguard the country’s security and defence capabilities. The remarks underline the delicate balance in Tehran’s position: Iran appears willing to explore diplomacy while simultaneously maintaining its longstanding opposition to Washington’s policies. Pezeshkian’s comments could therefore signal a possible opening for renewed diplomatic engagement, but any breakthrough is likely to depend on whether Iran and the United States can overcome deep mistrust and resolve disagreements over previous commitments. For now, Tehran’s message is clear: the door to negotiations may be open, but Iran says it will enter those talks from a position of dignity, national unity and strength.

Andrew Garfield heaps praise on Tom Holland’s Sp…

Andrew Garfield has made it clear that there is nothing but admiration between the actors who have worn Spider-Man’s famous red-and-blue suit. The Amazing Spider-Man star recently opened up about Tom Holland’s portrayal of the beloved Marvel superhero, describing him as an “incredible actor” and expressing genuine excitement for Holland’s continued success as Peter Parker. Speaking during a promotional appearance for his latest film, Garfield was asked about Holland’s time as Spider-Man. Rather than comparing their performances, the Oscar-nominated actor focused on praising his successor, saying, “I love him,” while applauding Holland’s talent and dedication to the role. Garfield also said he is looking forward to seeing Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest installment in Holland’s Marvel journey.  Garfield portrayed Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its 2014 sequel before passing the torch to Holland, who officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016. Although each actor has brought a different interpretation to the web-slinging hero, Garfield believes the character is in safe hands. Calling Holland an “incredible actor,” Garfield praised the emotional depth and energy he brings to Spider-Man. His comments reflect the respect that has long existed between the two stars, both on and off screen.  The pair famously shared the screen alongside Tobey Maguire in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, a film that united three generations of Spider-Man for the first time. Garfield previously described the experience as one of the most joyful moments of his career, saying it felt like celebrating the character’s enduring legacy rather than competing over it. During his latest interview, he joked that while he was simply enjoying the ride, Holland had the difficult task of carrying the film’s emotional weight.  Garfield’s supportive remarks come as excitement builds around Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which marks Holland’s latest outing as the iconic superhero. Fans have also continued to speculate about whether Garfield could one day return to the Marvel universe, though the actor has remained playful and noncommittal whenever asked about future appearances.  For Spider-Man fans, Garfield’s latest comments are another reminder that there is no rivalry between the actors behind the mask. Instead, there is mutual respect and appreciation for the responsibility of portraying one of the world’s most beloved superheroes. As Holland continues to lead the franchise, Garfield says he will be cheering him on—proof that once you’re part of the Spider-Man family, the bond never really disappears.
