Zendaya stunned by Zainab’s bold red-carpet look

British content creator Zainab Jiwa is still processing a memorable encounter with Hollywood star Zendaya after the actress appeared stunned by her striking red-carpet outfit at the London premiere of The Odyssey.

The 29-year-old creator attended the highly anticipated premiere wearing a dramatic custom-made gold gown featuring a hood. Her bold appearance quickly caught attention, but the reaction from Zendaya became the highlight of the evening.

According to Zainab, Zendaya noticed her outfit while walking past and appeared visibly surprised.

“She saw me there and her jaw just dropped, so did mine,” Zainab recalled, describing the moment as an unexpected exchange between the two.

The actress reportedly praised the look before continuing on her way. For Zainab, the brief interaction was enough to leave a lasting impression.

“I’m still in shock,” she said, adding that simply having Zendaya notice her outfit was something she never expected.

A video capturing the moment subsequently gained huge attention online, reportedly collecting around 19 million views on TikTok and sending Zainab’s phone into a frenzy.

Zainab has built a growing career by combining her passion for fashion and cinema. She regularly appears at major film premieres, where her outfits are designed around the themes and characters of the projects she is covering.

Her journey began as a hobby, when she started sharing videos about films and fashion on social media. Her content eventually attracted the attention of major studios, with Disney among the first to invite her to interview actors for promotional events.

Since then, she has interviewed several major Hollywood names, including Denzel Washington, Paul Mescal, Tom Hiddleston and Zendaya.

Her distinctive red-carpet style has become a key part of her identity. As a hijab-wearing Muslim creator, Zainab incorporates modest fashion into her premiere looks while ensuring that each outfit remains connected to the film she is covering.

She describes the process as finding ways to “halalify” fashionable looks, turning modesty into a creative element rather than a limitation.

For different premieres, she has experimented with dramatic gowns, customised designs, henna and themed accessories. Her past appearances have included gold-inspired styling for Gladiator II, spiderweb henna for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and a creative red gown inspired by House of the Dragon.

Despite receiving criticism from some social media users over her fashion choices, Zainab says the positive response keeps her motivated.

With hundreds of thousands of followers across TikTok and Instagram, she has become a recognised digital creator on the modern film-premiere circuit.

Yet behind the glamorous red carpets, she says life at home in north-west London remains much more ordinary, with limited storage space and family members often helping her prepare outfits at the last minute.

For Zainab, the growing attention is ultimately about her love for cinema, fashion and connecting with audiences.

Keith Urban feels relieved as Nicole Kidman moves on

Keith Urban is reportedly harboring no resentment toward his former wife, Nicole Kidman, following the end of their marriage. The country music star, who is said to have initiated their divorce, is now reportedly at peace with the decision and hopes that the actress finds happiness in the next chapter of her life. According to recent reports, Keith has let go of the guilt he once carried over the breakdown of their relationship. People close to the singer claim that he feels relieved after seeing Nicole seemingly move forward and embrace a new phase of her personal life. The development comes amid growing speculation surrounding Nicole’s alleged connection with businessman Michael Reinstein. The actress and the private equity investor have reportedly been spotted spending time together, fueling rumors that the two may have developed a romantic relationship. Keith was previously said to have struggled emotionally after seeing Nicole become close to another man. Reports claimed that the singer felt devastated and even experienced feelings of jealousy when photographs of Nicole and Michael began circulating online. However, the situation appears to have changed considerably. Those close to Keith now suggest that he no longer feels responsible for Nicole’s unhappiness and is instead pleased to see her moving on. The singer had reportedly been carrying guilt because he believed that ending their marriage had caused Nicole considerable emotional pain. Keith and Nicole officially ended their marriage earlier this year after years together. Following their separation, both stars have been focusing on their individual lives while continuing to co-parent their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Nicole’s rumored relationship with Michael became a subject of public attention in July when the pair were reportedly seen together in Portofino, Italy. During their time there, they appeared comfortable in each other’s company and were seen having a conversation near a pool. The photographs quickly sparked speculation about the nature of their relationship, with fans and media outlets questioning whether Nicole had found love again. Neither Nicole nor Michael has publicly confirmed that they are romantically involved, and the two have continued to keep their personal lives largely private. For Keith, however, Nicole’s rumored new relationship may have brought an unexpected sense of closure. Rather than remaining bitter about the end of their marriage, he is reportedly happy that she appears to be enjoying herself and beginning a new chapter. The singer’s alleged change in perspective also marks a significant shift from earlier reports suggesting that he was struggling to accept Nicole’s closeness with someone else. His previous feelings of guilt and jealousy appear to have eased as he has come to terms with their separation. While speculation surrounding Nicole and Michael continues, the actress has not publicly addressed the romance rumors. Keith, meanwhile, is reportedly concentrating on his own life and his role as a father. For now, the former couple appear to be moving forward separately, with their children remaining an important connection between them. Despite the emotional challenges surrounding their split, Keith is reportedly wishing Nicole well as she begins what could be a new chapter in her life.

Sonu Nigam admits he uses auto-tune, explains why it matters now

Sonu Nigam has admitted to using auto-tune on some of his songs. The confession comes as a surprise, given how often the technology gets associated with less skilled singers. Speaking on the “Game Changers” podcast, the 53-year-old explained why the tool has become genuinely necessary in today’s music landscape. He didn’t shy away from addressing the topic directly. Nigam acknowledged that the rise of auto-tune has brought major changes to the industry. He said people often criticise it, but he personally believes whatever has happened has ultimately been for the good. He recalled that singers of his generation had to perform without auto-tune in earlier years. According to Nigam, that experience gave them the advantage of training their voices the traditional way, without relying on digital correction. Despite that background, he was clear about his own practices today. Nigam admitted he does use auto-tune on certain songs, depending on the requirements of the track. He explained that most modern music now follows a rigid digital pitch, unlike the live instrumentation of earlier decades. Nigam said musicians once played live sarangi and strings, which allowed some natural flexibility in vocal pitch. Now, he explained, everything is digitised and follows an exact tonal line, making raw vocals more likely to sound off. He said singers previously adjusted their voice around live musicians, but today’s productions demand more precision. Nigam did add an important caveat to his comments. He stressed that auto-tune shouldn’t be used as a way to fix the voices of people who genuinely can’t sing. He explained that the responsible use of the tool means enhancing an already strong performance, not creating one artificially. According to him, giving 99% effort and refining it to 100% with auto-tune is very different from relying on it entirely. Nigam added that many actors use auto-tune while pursuing music, which he said is completely fine for personal enjoyment. However, he made clear that trained singers still can’t be replaced by the technology. On the work front, Nigam recently lent his voice to the track “Tabassum” for Rajkumar Santoshi’s “Batwara 1947,” composed by AR Rahman and written by Javed Akhtar. The film stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi in lead roles.

Iranian commander claims US, Israel failed to meet…

TEHRAN: Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has claimed that the United States and Israel failed to achieve their objectives during the conflict with Iran, as Tehran indicated that negotiations with Oman over the Strait of Hormuz were nearing an agreement but would not immediately lead to the waterway’s reopening. Brig Gen Hassan Zadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Mohammad Rasulullah Corps in Tehran, said Iran’s military preparedness and public support had helped the country withstand the US and Israeli campaign. Speaking during an inspection of upgraded air-defence units, Zadeh said Washington and Tel Aviv had failed to accomplish their stated goals and were now facing questions from their own populations and political circles. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said talks with Oman over a temporary shipping arrangement in the Strait of Hormuz were progressing. However, he stressed that an agreement on a shipping route alone would not be sufficient to reopen the strategically important waterway. Iran has linked the reopening of the strait to several conditions, including an end to US threats and attacks, the lifting of sanctions and blockades, compensation for losses and the release of Iranian assets. Tehran has also rejected the previous traffic separation system used by vessels passing through the waterway. Oman described its discussions with Iran as positive and constructive while urging all sides to avoid actions that could undermine the negotiations. Muscat also condemned recent attacks on ships travelling through the strait without assigning responsibility. The developments come amid continued disruption to shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial route for global energy supplies. The United Arab Emirates said an oil-related vessel had been struck by a missile while transiting the waterway, although no injuries were reported. The UK Maritime Trade Operations agency also reported that a vessel caught fire after being hit by an unidentified projectile. The fire was later extinguished, with no environmental damage reported. The United States has said it expects an agreement that could restore commercial shipping and allow restrictions on Iranian ports to be eased. US Central Command said more than 30 vessels had been permitted to pass through the area for humanitarian purposes, while dozens of others had been stopped or subjected to military action. Iranian officials, however, maintain that the strait will only be reopened once Washington accepts Tehran’s demands. Iranian authorities have also warned that any future shipping arrangement must provide Iran with greater control over maritime traffic. The prolonged disruption has contributed to rising energy costs and increased prices for food and other essential goods in Iran, adding further pressure on the country’s economy as negotiations continue.

Justin Greaves’ unbeaten fifty lifts West Indies to 239-5 against Pakistan

PORT OF SPAIN: Justin Greaves produced a composed unbeaten half-century to guide the West Indies to 239-5 at stumps on the opening day of the second Test against Pakistan, putting the hosts in a strong position after rain and fading light curtailed play. Greaves remained unbeaten on 64, while experienced all-rounder Roston Chase was solid on 36 not out, with the pair steering the Caribbean side through the closing stages after Pakistan struck at regular intervals. Earlier, Brandon King laid the foundation for the innings with an impressive 46, helping the West Indies recover from early setbacks before narrowly missing out on a well-deserved half-century. Pakistan’s bowlers worked hard on a surface that offered occasional assistance but struggled to build sustained pressure as partnerships frustrated the visitors throughout the day. Fast bowler Mohammad Ali emerged as Pakistan’s most successful bowler, claiming two wickets with disciplined line and length. Ubaid Shah, Ali Usman, and veteran spinner Sajid Khan picked up one wicket each, ensuring Pakistan stayed in the contest despite West Indies’ steady progress. The opening day’s play was interrupted by rain and poor light, limiting action to just 74 overs instead of a full day’s schedule. The frequent stoppages disrupted the rhythm of both teams and prevented Pakistan from fully capitalising whenever they gained momentum. With five wickets still in hand, the West Indies will look to extend their first-innings total beyond 350 when play resumes on Tuesday. Greaves and Chase will be aiming to convert their unbeaten partnership into a match-defining stand. Pakistan, meanwhile, will target an early breakthrough on the second morning to expose the lower order and prevent the hosts from taking complete control of the contest. The second day’s opening session is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the direction of the Test, with both teams aware that a strong first-innings performance could prove decisive in the battle for series momentum.

Karachi watchman shot dead during suspected robber…

Two people were killed in separate shooting incidents reported within an hour in different areas of Karachi on Thursday, prompting police to launch investigations into both cases. The first incident occurred in the Boat Basin police jurisdiction near Bath Island in Clifton, where a watchman was fatally shot outside a residential bungalow. Rescue officials shifted the victim’s body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities. According to Chhipa rescue officials, the deceased was identified as 40-year-old Mewa, who sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. Initial information suggested that armed suspects opened fire after encountering resistance during an attempted robbery. However, Boat Basin Station House Officer (SHO) Riaz Niazi said the exact motive behind the killing had not yet been established. He confirmed that the victim originally belonged to the Thar region and was employed as a watchman at the bungalow where the incident occurred. The SHO said police were investigating all possible angles, including personal enmity and robbery, before reaching a final conclusion. Authorities are also attempting to obtain CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the suspects and reconstruct the sequence of events. In a separate incident, another man was shot dead near Link Road on the National Highway in the Bin Qasim area. The victim was also taken to Jinnah Hospital for medico-legal procedures. Bin Qasim SHO Faisal Rafiq identified the deceased as 40-year-old Bashir, a truck driver originally from Dera Ismail Khan. According to preliminary findings, Bashir was present at a truck terminal when unidentified assailants, who were allegedly lying in wait, opened fire on him. Police said the victim suffered three bullet wounds, including one to the chest. Investigators recovered three spent 30-bore pistol casings from the crime scene, which have been collected as forensic evidence. Officials believe the second shooting may have been motivated by personal enmity, although they emphasised that the investigation remains ongoing and no suspects have been arrested so far. The two fatal incidents highlight the continuing security challenges in Karachi, where police regularly investigate cases involving violent crime, targeted attacks, and robbery-related shootings. Authorities have appealed to the public to cooperate with investigators and provide any information that may assist in identifying those responsible.

Internet hilariously pairs Rajab Butt with Dr Nabiha Ali Khan

Pakistani social media users have found a new topic of discussion after internet personalities Rajab Butt and Dr Nabiha Ali Khan became the centre of a wave of humorous posts linking their personal lives. Rajab Butt is one of Pakistan’s most-followed YouTubers, known for sharing family vlogs and lifestyle content with millions of viewers. Over the years, he has frequently made headlines not only for his online content but also for controversies surrounding legal matters and his personal life. In recent months, much of the public attention has focused on his marriage with Emaan Fatima. Reports, speculation and discussions about the couple’s relationship, including rumours of separation and reconciliation, have kept the pair in the spotlight across social media platforms. Meanwhile, Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has also remained a trending figure due to the highly publicised developments in her relationship with Haris Khokhar. Their marriage has repeatedly attracted attention because of reports involving marital disputes, a khula, divorce proceedings and later reconciliation. Dr Nabiha has also addressed various aspects of her personal life in interviews, making her relationship a frequent topic of online conversation. With both personalities regularly making headlines over their relationships, social media users recently began jokingly connecting the two in a series of viral posts. The discussion started after an X (formerly Twitter) user shared a light-hearted suggestion that Rajab Butt and Dr Nabiha Ali Khan should marry each other, claiming that neither appeared satisfied in their current relationships. Although the post was clearly intended as humour, it quickly gained traction and sparked thousands of reactions from other users. The suggestion spread rapidly across social media, with many people adding their own jokes and memes. Users flooded the comment sections with witty remarks, turning the viral post into a trending conversation. One user jokingly referred to the pair as “Yajooj Majooj,” using the comparison to exaggerate the idea in a humorous way. Another commented that they would be “a couple made in hell,” while someone else wrote that “they deserve each other.” Many other users continued the trend by sharing memes, sarcastic comments and edited images, with the conversation becoming more about entertainment than serious discussion. The viral reactions once again highlighted how quickly social media users turn celebrity news into online humour. Relationship updates involving well-known influencers often become the subject of memes, especially when those personalities are already frequent topics of public debate. Neither Rajab Butt nor Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has responded to the viral posts or the jokes circulating online. The discussion appears to have been driven entirely by social media users and does not reflect any real connection between the two personalities. As with many viral internet trends, the conversation has largely been based on speculation and humour rather than facts. While many users treated the posts as harmless entertainment, others pointed out that public figures’ personal lives often become the focus of excessive online scrutiny. For now, the viral pairing remains nothing more than a social media joke. However, it has once again demonstrated how quickly internet culture can transform ongoing celebrity controversies into trending memes, with thousands of users joining the conversation through humorous comments, reactions and viral posts.
