The K-drama lineup for 27 July to 2 August 2026 is stacked, with two big premieres and fresh episodes of the shows everyone is already hooked on.

Topping the list is A Bona Fide Killer, starring Gong Hyo-jin as Yoo Bo-na, a seemingly average working mother who is secretly “Kingfisher,” a legendary sniper. Directed by Yoon Jong-ho, the thriller-comedy follows her struggle to keep her family life intact while her secret identity starts catching up with her.

Also premiering is The Affair Was Just the Beginning, a black comedy led by Kim Hye-soo. Two couples get pulled into a scandal that starts small and quickly turns into total chaos. Lee Chang-hee directs, with Dear X actor Kim Ji-hoon rounding out the cast.

On the romance front, Dream to You continues with Hwang In-youp and Lee Hye-ri as Woo Su-bin and Joo Yi-jae, two people reconnecting years later and figuring out whether old feelings still hold up against new dreams.

A Shop for Killers season 2 keeps the action coming, with Lee Dong-wook’s Jin-man deep in his fight against Babylon. Murthehelp is under constant threat, and every decision he makes gets riskier.

Namkoong Min’s thriller The Husband ramps up too, as Kang Tae-ju gets closer to the truth behind his wife’s kidnapping. Each new clue pushes him toward harder, more dangerous choices to bring her home safely.

For fans of supernatural stories, Spooky in Love returns with Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong solving ghostly mysteries together, all while their bond quietly deepens beneath the case-of-the-week format.

And in The Apartment Job, Ji Sung’s offbeat run for residents’ council president hits another snag, as corruption buried within the complex becomes harder for him to look past.

Cleveland Police Chief Constable Victoria Fuller described the deaths as an “unimaginable loss” and said it was an extremely painful day for the force and the wider community. Fuller said she and Deputy Chief Constable visited the officers’ families to offer condolences and support as they faced the devastating loss. Tributes have also been paid by senior political figures and local representatives. Prime Minister and Home Secretary figures expressed their condolences, while local leaders praised the officers for their dedication to public safety. Redcar MP Anna Turley said the tragedy had caused deep sorrow across the community. The rise in fuel prices can also affect transportation and the cost of goods and services. Several meat and fruit prices also increased during the year. The price of bananas rose by 17.66%, while mutton became 15.98% more expensive. Beef prices increased by 13.54%, adding to the cost of commonly consumed food items. However, some essential commodities became cheaper during the same period. Potato prices declined by 30%, while sugar became 19.10% cheaper. Chicken prices also decreased by 17.68%, providing some relief to consumers. The statistics also showed a decline in the prices of eggs and pulses. Egg prices fell by 17.41% over the year, while chana dal became more than 13% cheaper. Masoor dal prices declined by 12.29%, while jaggery became 6% cheaper. The latest figures show mixed price trends in the country. While consumers received some relief from lower prices of potatoes, sugar, chicken, eggs and pulses, sharp increases in onions, tomatoes, flour and fuel continued to add pressure to household expenses. The data highlights the significant changes in the prices of everyday necessities over the past year.
