Kartik Aaryan likely to return as Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4

Bhool Bhulaiyaa has become one of Bollywood’s most successful film franchises, and fresh reports have sparked excitement among fans about a possible fourth instalment. While the makers have not officially announced the project, speculation surrounding Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 continues to grow.

The third film in the horror-comedy series was released on November 1, 2024, and proved to be another commercial success at the box office. Following its strong performance, reports have suggested that the franchise is set to continue with Kartik Aaryan once again leading the cast as the beloved ghostbuster, Rooh Baba.

According to the latest industry buzz, director Anees Bazmee is also expected to return to helm the upcoming film. Bazmee successfully directed both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, playing a key role in reviving the franchise with a fresh storyline while maintaining its signature mix of horror and comedy.

Insiders claim that discussions regarding the project are currently underway, with the production team reportedly working on finalising agreements. If everything falls into place, Bazmee and Kartik Aaryan are expected to reunite for the fourth chapter of the blockbuster series.

The makers are reportedly keen to expand Bhool Bhulaiyaa into one of India’s biggest film franchises. Early work on the concept for the new instalment is said to have already begun, with efforts focused on delivering another entertaining horror-comedy experience for audiences.

Reports further suggest that Kartik Aaryan has been actively involved in the creative discussions and is enthusiastic about returning as Rooh Baba, a character that has become closely associated with his career. However, there has been no official word regarding the rest of the cast, leaving fans wondering which familiar faces could return and whether any new actors will join the franchise.

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa journey began in 2007 with the original film directed by Priyadarshan. Starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja and Ameesha Patel, the film was an adaptation of the acclaimed Malayalam classic Manichitrathazhu. It received widespread praise from audiences and critics alike, eventually becoming a major box office success and earning cult status over the years.

After a gap of 15 years, the franchise returned with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in 2022. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the sequel introduced Kartik Aaryan as Rooh Baba alongside Kiara Advani and Tabu. The film performed exceptionally well in theatres and successfully revived the franchise for a new generation of moviegoers.

The success continued with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in 2024. The film featured Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan reprising her iconic role, and Madhuri Dixit in a key appearance. Blending comedy, suspense and supernatural elements, the film once again attracted large audiences and became another box office winner.

Although Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 has not yet been officially announced, the growing speculation has already generated significant excitement. Fans are now eagerly waiting for a formal confirmation to see Rooh Baba return for another spooky adventure.

Britney Spears reveals how 13-year conservatorship…

Britney Spears is opening up again about the lasting emotional impact of the 13-year conservatorship that controlled much of her life. The pop star recently shared a deeply personal reflection on Instagram, saying people still do not fully understand the damage the conservatorship caused to her “heart and soul.” Spears was placed under the legal arrangement in 2008, and it remained in place until November 2021. (Page Six) Looking back, Spears said she had always been a deeply sensitive and shy person. Performing on stage gave her a way to become someone different, allowing her to step outside her natural personality. However, the pressure surrounding her career eventually became overwhelming. Spears recalled experiencing shaking and asthma when she had to meet large numbers of people during meet-and-greets. She said that despite her sensitivity, she was expected to interact with huge crowds, including occasions when she was made to meet as many as 70 people. The experience, she explained, changed something fundamental inside her. Spears said she “lost the sensitivity” of her soul and described feeling like a robot or machine. Her latest comments echo what she previously wrote in her memoir, The Woman in Me, where she described the conservatorship as stripping away important parts of her identity and damaging her relationship with music and performing. (The Standard) The singer also reflected on a sense of connection she once had with other people. She described that relationship as something sacred that she misses, suggesting that years of pressure and control affected not only her career but also the way she experienced ordinary human relationships. Spears has previously spoken about how difficult it was to reclaim her independence after the conservatorship ended. Her recent comments show that, even years after gaining her freedom, she continues to process what happened during that period. The Grammy-winning singer also acknowledged how becoming a mother changed her relationship with performing and public attention. She shares two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, with her former husband Kevin Federline. (Page Six) For Spears, freedom appears to mean more than simply ending a legal arrangement. It means rediscovering the sensitive, private and authentic parts of herself that she feels were lost along the way. Her latest reflection offers another glimpse into the personal cost of years spent living under extraordinary restrictions—and her ongoing journey toward finding herself again.

A minor dispute over a juice payment turned violent in Lahore’s outskirts when three individuals allegedly opened fire at a food point staff following an argument. According to police officials, the suspects, identified as Boda Jatt and two of his associates, visited the food point and consumed juice. After the bill was presented, the individuals allegedly paid less than the required amount, leading to an argument with the staff. Police said that when the food point employees asked the suspects to pay the remaining amount, the situation escalated. The accused allegedly pulled out weapons and opened fire at the food point owner and staff before fleeing the scene. The CCTV footage reportedly shows the moments surrounding the incident and is being reviewed by investigators as part of the case. Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor reveal what The En…

Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor are stepping into an unusual cinematic adventure with The End of Oak Street, a new film that combines family drama, mystery and prehistoric thrills. While the movie places its characters in an extraordinary situation, the story also explores themes of family, adaptability and finding strength when life suddenly changes. The film, directed by David Robert Mitchell, stars Hathaway and McGregor as parents living with their family in a quiet 1980s suburban neighborhood. Their ordinary lives take an unexpected turn when a mysterious event transports their community into a prehistoric world filled with dinosaurs and other ancient creatures. (Variety) Learning to adapt One of the strongest ideas surrounding The End of Oak Street is the importance of adapting to circumstances that are completely outside anyone’s control. Hathaway and McGregor’s characters are forced to leave behind the comfort and familiarity of their everyday lives. Suddenly, the skills they would normally rely on are no longer enough. They must work together, make difficult decisions and protect their family while trying to understand what has happened. That unusual premise gives the film an emotional foundation beneath its large-scale adventure. The story is not simply about dinosaurs or survival. It also places a family under extraordinary pressure and asks how people respond when everything familiar disappears. Family at the center Although the film promises plenty of spectacle, the family relationship remains an important part of the story. Hathaway plays a mother who begins questioning her life before the mysterious transformation changes everything around her. McGregor plays her husband, and their characters must navigate their complicated circumstances while attempting to keep their family together. Their journey gives the film a more personal dimension, allowing the adventure to explore questions about relationships, responsibility and change. The film has been compared to a blend of Spielberg-style wonder and Jurassic Park-level thrills, while remaining an original story. (World of Reel) A new kind of challenge For Hathaway and McGregor, The End of Oak Street represents a departure from more conventional family dramas. The production required them to work within a world where the impossible becomes reality. The movie is scheduled to arrive in UK cinemas on August 14, 2026. With its combination of mystery, family dynamics and prehistoric adventure, it could offer audiences more than a traditional creature-feature experience. (London Post) Ultimately, The End of Oak Street suggests that even when life takes an unexpected turn, staying connected, thinking creatively and protecting the people who matter can make all the difference.

Four terrorists killed in foiled South Waziristan …

Security forces have thwarted a suspected suicide attack on a security check post in South Waziristan, killing four terrorists, according to the military’s media wing. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said terrorists attempted to target a security forces’ post on Saturday using a vehicle packed with explosives. The vehicle was intercepted before it could reach the check post. Security personnel destroyed the explosive-laden vehicle outside the post’s perimeter, killing the suicide bomber inside. The failed attack caused no damage to the check post, according to the military. The ISPR said three other attackers attempted to escape and took shelter in a nearby compound. Security forces subsequently launched a targeted clearance operation and killed all three terrorists. No security personnel were reported killed or injured during the operation. Following the engagement, security forces launched a sanitisation operation in the area to search for any remaining militants and ensure the area was secure. The military said the operation demonstrated the preparedness and professional response of security personnel against terrorist threats. It added that counterterrorism efforts would continue under the government’s broader security strategy. President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces for responding quickly and preventing the attack. He said security and law enforcement agencies would continue their operations against terrorism with determination. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also commended the personnel involved in the operation. He said the nation was proud of the security forces and their continued efforts to counter terrorism. The latest incident comes amid heightened security concerns in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, where militant attacks have increased in recent years. Security forces have continued targeted operations in several areas to disrupt militant networks and prevent attacks on security personnel and civilians. The South Waziristan operation comes shortly after a deadly attack in Tank district in which several security personnel and a government official were killed. Another attack in Kohat also claimed the lives of government officials after militants ambushed a vehicle at a joint check post.

Peshawar High Court orders decision on Afghan busi…

The Peshawar High Court has issued a written judgment regarding a petition filed against the non-extension of visas for an Afghan businessman and his family members. The court has directed the relevant authorities to decide the applicant’s visa extension case within 15 days in accordance with the law. According to the written decision issued by the High Court, the petitioner is a registered taxpayer with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The applicant possesses a National Tax Number (NTN) and is also a member of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The court observed that the applicant has established business ties and fulfills the necessary legal requirements as a registered member of the business community. The judgment stated that the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, Islamabad, failed to make a timely decision on the visa extension applications submitted by the petitioner. Due to the delay in processing the applications, the applicant and his family have faced difficulties and uncertainty regarding their legal status in Pakistan. The court emphasized that government authorities are required to make decisions within a reasonable period and in accordance with the provisions of the law. The judgment noted that the applicants had submitted proper applications for visa extensions after the expiry of their previous visa periods. Therefore, their pending applications should have been considered and decided promptly by the relevant department. The Peshawar High Court further directed the concerned authorities to review the pending visa extension requests and issue a detailed decision within 15 days. The court made it clear that the decision must be based on legal principles and should address all relevant aspects of the applicants’ cases. The court’s order highlights the importance of timely administrative decisions, particularly in matters involving foreign nationals who are legally residing and conducting business activities in Pakistan. Delays in such cases can create serious challenges for individuals, including difficulties related to travel, business operations, documentation, and compliance with immigration requirements. The judgment also reflects the court’s view that individuals who meet legal obligations, such as tax registration and business registration, deserve a fair and timely review of their applications. The authorities have been instructed to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure that administrative procedures are completed within the timeframe prescribed by law. The case was brought before the High Court after the applicant’s visa extension requests remained unresolved despite the submission of formal applications. The petitioner argued that the delay by immigration authorities had caused hardship for him and his family. After examining the facts of the case, the court issued directions to ensure that the pending matters are resolved without further delay. The written decision of the Peshawar High Court serves as a reminder that government departments must act efficiently and transparently when dealing with legal applications. The court’s order does not grant an automatic visa extension but requires the authorities to make a proper and lawful decision on the pending applications within the specified 15-day period.
