Police Clarify Charges and Deny Rumors

Police Captain Nipon Polsawat from the Bang Bua Thong Police Station confirmed that officers interrogated the suspect shortly after the incident. Authorities officially charged Yosthorn with drunk driving, reckless driving causing death, and causing damage to private property. Police are currently awaiting detailed forensic results before completing the final prosecution file for court proceedings.

Investigators also addressed widespread public confusion regarding potential charges against the deceased tuk-tuk driver. Police strongly denied rumors claiming that the victim shared negligence in the crash. Officials explained that an insurance representative made those initial statements, not law enforcement officers conducting the investigation.

Relatives of the victims gathered at Wat Bang Phai temple to hold funeral rites and pay their final respects. The suspect and his family members attended the cremation ceremony to offer formal apologies to the grieving relatives. While the suspect bowed down to ask for forgiveness, heartbroken family members stated that words cannot undo the overwhelming damage.

Victim families also turned down initial financial assistance offers from the suspect’s representatives during the early stage of the investigation. Relatives insisted that they want the judicial system to take its full course without pre-emptive monetary settlements. Insurance representatives will negotiate formal compensation packages with the victims’ families only after all religious funeral services conclude.

Black Chyna submits sweeping NDA in court, reveali…

Black Chyna has filed a detailed non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in court as part of her ongoing legal battle with former boyfriend Taiyon “Twin” Hector. The filing gives a rare look at the strict confidentiality rules she says Hector agreed to follow during their relationship, including protections involving her children, Dream Kardashian and King Cairo.  According to the court filing, the NDA was created to safeguard Black Chyna’s personal life, business interests, and family. The agreement reportedly prohibited Hector from sharing private information, publishing photos or videos, recording conversations, or making public statements about Chyna without her permission. It also extended confidentiality to people closely connected to her, including members of her family.  One of the most significant parts of the agreement involves Black Chyna’s two children. Dream Kardashian, whom she shares with Rob Kardashian, and King Cairo, her son with rapper Tyga, are specifically mentioned in the NDA. The document reportedly bars the disclosure of any private information, images, or details concerning the children, reflecting Chyna’s efforts to keep their lives away from public scrutiny despite her celebrity status.  The NDA also includes references to the Kardashian family, drawing renewed attention because of Black Chyna’s highly publicized history with Rob Kardashian. The former couple has been involved in several legal disputes over the years, making the latest filing another development in their long-running legal saga.  The filing comes amid an escalating courtroom dispute between Black Chyna and Hector. While Hector previously sued Chyna, alleging she was abusive during their relationship, Chyna has denied those claims. She has responded with a cross-complaint seeking $20 million, accusing Hector of assaulting her and violating the NDA by allegedly referencing her in songs he released after their breakup.  Confidentiality agreements are common in Hollywood, but legal observers say the breadth of Black Chyna’s NDA stands out because it covers not only private conversations and business dealings but also social media activity and information related to her children. The filing highlights the lengths many public figures go to in order to protect their privacy and that of their families.  As the legal proceedings continue, the NDA is expected to play a key role in the case. Whether the court ultimately upholds its terms remains to be seen, but the document has already sparked widespread interest for its extensive protections surrounding Black Chyna, her family, and especially Dream Kardashian and King Cairo.

Germany faces ICJ hearing over Nicaragua’s Gaza …

THE HAGUE: The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the United Nations’ highest judicial body, has announced that it will hold public hearings in September to examine Germany’s preliminary objections in a case filed by Nicaragua over alleged violations of international law related to the occupied Palestinian territory, particularly the Gaza Strip. According to an official statement issued by the court, the hearings will take place from September 7 to September 10 at the Peace Palace in The Hague. The proceedings will focus solely on Germany’s objections to the court’s jurisdiction and the admissibility of parts of Nicaragua’s legal claims before the case can move forward on its merits. Nicaragua initiated the case on March 1, 2024, accusing Germany of breaching its obligations under the Genocide Convention, the 1949 Geneva Conventions, their Additional Protocols and other principles of international humanitarian law. The Central American nation argues that Germany has failed in its duty to help prevent genocide by continuing political, financial and military support for Israel during the conflict in Gaza. Nicaragua also claims Germany’s decision to suspend funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) contributed to worsening the humanitarian situation. According to Nicaragua, the ongoing conflict, which began in October 2023, has created what it describes as a recognized risk of genocide against the Palestinian population in Gaza, making all states party to the Genocide Convention responsible for taking preventive measures. Germany formally challenged the case on October 21, 2025, filing preliminary objections that argue the ICJ does not have jurisdiction to hear the dispute. Berlin also contends that several of Nicaragua’s claims are legally inadmissible. Under ICJ procedures, consideration of the main case has been suspended until the court decides whether it has the authority to proceed. The hearing schedule provides Germany with the first opportunity to present oral arguments on September 7, followed by Nicaragua on September 8. Germany will return for a second round on September 9, while Nicaragua will deliver its final submissions on September 10. The case is being closely watched by governments, legal experts and international human rights organizations, as the court’s eventual ruling on jurisdiction could determine whether one of the most closely followed legal disputes arising from the Gaza conflict proceeds to a full hearing on its merits.

Paris Jackson shares rare insights into first meet…

Paris Jackson is opening up about one of the most personal moments of her life: meeting her mother, Debbie Rowe, for the first time when she was 15. The singer and actress discussed the experience during a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. Looking back, Paris revealed that the meeting was much more relaxed than people might expect. Rather than being an emotional or dramatic reunion, their first encounter unfolded in a surprisingly natural way. (People.com) Paris explained that she had started asking questions about her mother when she was around 10 or 11. At the time, she was given enough information to satisfy her curiosity, including Rowe’s name, and she simply moved on. Several years later, however, Paris and Rowe finally connected when Paris was about 15. The reunion happened after years of limited contact. Rowe is the biological mother of Paris and her older brother, Prince Jackson. She was married to Michael Jackson from 1996 until their divorce in 2000, after which Michael retained full custody of their children. (EW.com) Paris recalled that when she first encountered Rowe, she was with her grandmother. Instead of making the moment overly serious, Paris greeted her mother casually, reportedly saying, “Hey, Mom.” The two then spent time together talking and getting to know each other. (Page Six) Interestingly, Paris said she did not approach the reunion with many expectations. She believes that keeping expectations low helped their relationship develop naturally instead of placing pressure on either of them. Over time, the mother-daughter relationship became stronger. Paris has previously spoken about discovering similarities between herself and Rowe, including their personalities and shared interest in music. She has also noted that they look alike and enjoy similar genres, particularly country and folk music. (Yahoo) Their bond became especially meaningful as the years passed. Paris supported Rowe during her battle with breast cancer in 2016, further strengthening their connection. More recently, Paris has continued to share glimpses of their relationship, including rare photos of the two together. The actress has also reflected on how different her relationship with Rowe is from a traditional mother-daughter bond. Because they were separated during much of Paris’ childhood, their connection developed more gradually as she grew older. Now, Paris appears grateful for the relationship they have built. Her latest comments offer a rare glimpse into a deeply personal chapter of her life and show how a simple first meeting at 15 eventually grew into a meaningful bond between mother and daughter.

Heavy rain disrupts traffic, floods low-lying area…

Heavy rainfall disrupted routine life across Lahore on Saturday, leaving several roads, underpasses and low-lying neighbourhoods inundated and causing difficulties for motorists and pedestrians. The downpour led to significant water accumulation in different parts of the city, slowing traffic and making several routes difficult to navigate. Residents in low-lying areas faced particular inconvenience as rainwater gathered on streets and roads. According to rainfall figures recorded by the Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa), Lahore received an average of 24.6 millimetres of rain. The highest rainfall was recorded at Lahore Airport, where 104mm was reported. Kahna received 75.6mm, while 62.6mm was recorded at Hadiara Defence Road and 58.6mm at Manawan. Rainfall was also recorded in Tajpura, Mughalpura, Shadipura, Defence Phase-VI, Farrukhabad, Saggian, Lakshmi Chowk, Chowk Nakhuda and other areas. Although the rain provided relief from the prevailing heat and brought cooler weather, waterlogging created problems for commuters and once again highlighted the challenges faced by Lahore’s low-lying areas during heavy showers. Wasa Lahore mobilised field teams and heavy machinery to remove accumulated water from affected locations. Officials continued drainage operations at several underpasses, major roads and low-lying points across the city. Wasa Managing Director Ghufran Ahmed inspected drainage activities at several key locations, including Mubeen Shaheed Underpass, Noor Jehan Road, MM Alam Road, Main Boulevard Gulberg, Qaddafi Stadium and Liberty Chowk. He also reviewed operations at Kalma Chowk Underpass and other emergency drainage facilities. Officials said disposal stations in areas affected by power outages were being operated with generators to ensure that drainage work continued without interruption. Wasa Vice Chairman Chaudhry Shehbaz Ahmed also inspected water drainage arrangements at several locations, including Shalimar Link Road, Bhagwanpura, UET and nearby areas. Meanwhile, Chief Traffic Officer Abdul Rahim Shirazi directed traffic officials to remain present in the field and closely monitor traffic flow and vulnerable points during the rainfall. Traffic police coordinated with Wasa teams to facilitate the removal of standing water and advised motorists to drive carefully on slippery roads. Drivers were urged to maintain a safe distance, avoid sudden braking and reduce speed. Motorcyclists were advised to wear helmets and avoid unnecessary overtaking. Citizens were also warned against entering roads where floodwater appeared deep or unsafe.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day star Jacob Batalon revea…

Jacob Batalon is shining a spotlight on one of the most talked-about additions to Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The actor, who reprises his beloved role as Ned Leeds, recently opened up about the film’s innovative “Spidey Tracker” and explained why the feature perfectly reflects his character’s personality. Speaking to People magazine, Batalon shared that Ned’s intelligence has always been one of his defining qualities, making the new technology a natural extension of his journey.  “I think what’s really cool about Ned is that they never really lost his intelligence,” Batalon said during the interview. Since making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Ned has been known as Peter Parker’s trusted “guy in the chair,” using his technical skills to help Spider-Man behind the scenes. Even after the emotional events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the latest film continues to showcase Ned’s sharp mind in a fresh and exciting way.  In Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Ned develops the Spidey Tracker, an app designed to help locate Spider-Man across New York City. Ironically, because of Doctor Strange’s memory spell in No Way Home, Ned no longer remembers that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. As a result, he unknowingly spends his time tracking his former best friend without realizing their shared history. The emotional twist adds another layer to the character while staying true to the franchise’s ongoing storyline.  Beyond its role in the movie, the Spidey Tracker has also become a real-world experience for fans. Sony Pictures and Samsung partnered to launch an interactive version of the tracker, allowing fans to follow Spider-Man-themed events, explore global sightings, and connect with the film’s promotional campaign. Batalon praised the collaboration, saying Samsung’s foldable devices fit perfectly with Ned’s tech-loving personality and made the fictional app feel even more believable.  The actor also reflected on how much the Spider-Man franchise has meant to him over the past decade. Batalon expressed gratitude for growing alongside Tom Holland and Zendaya, describing his co-stars as family. He said the films not only shaped his career but also allowed him to build lasting friendships both on and off the screen.  Ned has long been a fan favorite because of his humor, loyalty, and intelligence, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to build on those strengths. Rather than changing who the character is, the new film gives him another opportunity to showcase the skills that audiences have loved since 2017. With the Spidey Tracker serving as both a clever story element and an engaging fan experience, Batalon believes the feature captures everything that makes Ned special. As Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues its successful theatrical run, Batalon’s latest comments offer fans a deeper appreciation for one of the franchise’s most relatable characters. His enthusiasm for Ned’s evolution suggests there is still plenty of room for the character to grow in future Marvel adventures.
