On Saturday morning, Cambodia’s Ministry of Information directly contradicted Trump’s claim, stating, “Thai forces have not stopped the bombing yet and are still continuing the bombing,” referring to Thai fighter jet strikes. The Thai military countered with accusations that Cambodia was committing “repeated violations of international rules” by targeting civilian areas and laying new landmines.

The Thai Foreign Ministry, when asked about Trump’s ceasefire announcement, directed reporters solely to the former president’s statement, offering no confirmation. Prime Minister Anutin had earlier stated that his conversation with Trump focused on explaining that Cambodia violated the October peace declaration, forcing Thailand to defend its people.

In a Facebook statement on Saturday, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet referenced his calls with Trump and Malaysian leader Anwar Ibrahim, reaffirming a commitment to a peaceful resolution per the Kuala Lumpur agreement. However, he pointedly suggested that the U.S. and Malaysia use their intelligence capabilities to “verify which side fired first” in the latest clashes.

However, she said the situation surrounding the Mir Raza case had left her extremely exhausted. “During my four-year tenure as Karachi’s medico-legal services/police surgeon, I have never felt this helpless,” she said. Dr Summaiya added that although difficulties had often come her way in the pursuit of truth and justice, she had now reached a point of extreme exhaustion. The police surgeon had earlier written a letter to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East regarding the Mir Raza Ali case. In the letter, she pointed out what she described as serious shortcomings in the post-mortem report prepared by Dr Usama Sheikh. Her concerns have raised questions about the findings recorded in the post-mortem report and the medico-legal procedures followed in the case. The matter has consequently drawn attention to the importance of accurate documentation and proper medical examination in sensitive cases.       Fans of Landman have plenty to look forward to as the Paramount+ drama moves toward its highly anticipated third season. The Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace-created series has officially been renewed, and recent updates suggest that the next chapter of the hit oil drama is taking shape. Paramount+ confirmed the renewal in December 2025 after Landman delivered strong viewing numbers for the streaming service. The third season will continue to be executive produced by Sheridan, Wallace, David C. Glasser and several other members of the creative team.  The biggest question for viewers has been when the new episodes will arrive. Paramount+ has confirmed that season 3 is coming, but the streamer has not announced an official premiere date. Its own update notes that both previous seasons launched in November, although that pattern does not guarantee the same release window for the new season.  Production timing has also become an important part of the conversation. Earlier expectations pointed toward a quicker return, but reports indicate that filming has been pushed later than initially anticipated. That has raised the possibility that viewers may have to wait until 2027 rather than seeing the season in late 2026.  There is, however, plenty of story left to explore. Season 2 ended with major changes for Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris. After being pushed out of M-Tex, Tommy joined forces with his son Cooper and Danny Morrell to establish a new oil business. At the same time, Demi Moore’s Cami became an increasingly powerful figure at M-Tex, setting the stage for a new professional rivalry.  Thornton is expected to return as Tommy, while other familiar faces are also likely to continue their stories. However, Paramount+ had not yet officially announced the complete season 3 cast in its April update.  Christian Wallace has previously expressed enthusiasm about continuing the series, saying there is still plenty of story to tell. He suggested that the show has significant “runway” remaining as long as the characters and story continue to develop in worthwhile ways.  That approach could make season 3 particularly exciting. Tommy is no longer simply trying to survive inside someone else’s oil empire. He is now building something of his own, while facing new business dangers and complicated family relationships. For now, fans will have to remain patient for an official premiere announcement. What is clear is that Landman is not going anywhere. With Paramount+ backing another season and the story entering a completely new phase, season 3 could become one of the show’s biggest chapters yet.

    Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Chairman Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has called for the creation of new administrative units across Pakistan based on population size, arguing that the country needs a more effective system of governance to meet the needs of its growing population. Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, Siddiqui said the business community across the country had also raised concerns similar to those voiced by his party regarding the existing administrative structure. He argued that Pakistan’s administrative system needed reforms to ensure better governance and a more balanced distribution of resources. Siddiqui said the provincial structure had changed after the abolition of the One Unit system, but the country had failed to restore an administrative framework that fully addressed the needs of its population. He stressed that his party’s demand for new administrative units did not target the country’s territorial integrity or seek to undermine the existing provinces. “We demand the creation of administrative units in Pakistan according to the population,” Siddiqui said, emphasizing that the objective was to improve administration and ensure that people received better public services. Addressing concerns over the boundaries of potential new administrative units, the MQM-P chief said his party had never called for a debate over the division of Pakistan’s territory. He described Pakistan as the “motherland” and said all four provinces remained an integral part of the country. Siddiqui maintained that the country itself was indivisible, while the Constitution allowed for changes in the administrative structure. He said the Constitution provided a mechanism for altering provincial boundaries and creating new administrative arrangements, although he believed the existing procedure had become impractical under current circumstances. The MQM-P chairman also pointed to the significance of August 1, the beginning of Pakistan’s independence month. He said the month carried a strong ideological connection with the creation of Pakistan and should encourage political leaders to discuss reforms aimed at strengthening the country. Siddiqui further revealed that his party had already introduced a constitutional amendment in the National Assembly to address the issue. He argued that Pakistan needed to revisit its administrative framework and consider reforms that could make governance more efficient and bring government closer to the people. The MQM-P has repeatedly advocated the creation of additional administrative units, maintaining that a more decentralized system could improve governance, facilitate service delivery and ensure a fairer distribution of resources. The demand, however, remains a politically sensitive issue, particularly in the context of debates over provincial boundaries and autonomy.
