Hua Hin Food Fest 2026 returns to Hua Don Beach, 28 – 30 Aug

Hua Hin Food Fest 2026 will return to Hua Don Beach in Khao Takiab from 28 to 30 August, featuring local food, fresh seafood, cooking competitions and live entertainment.

The three-day festival will bring together restaurants, hotels and food businesses from Hua Hin and Cha-am, giving visitors the opportunity to sample regional dishes beside the beach.

The programme will include live cooking demonstrations, concerts and other entertainment. Popular artists are scheduled to perform during the festival, with admission to the concerts free.

A featured food activity will present a new interpretation of Hua Hin-style Pad Thai, combining traditional flavours with modern cooking techniques and presentation.

Chef competitions at Hua Hin Food Fest 2026

Hua Hin Municipality and the Cha-am–Hua Hin Chefs Club will organise three cooking competitions, offering a combined THB 99,000 in prize money.

The Pasta East–West Challenge will take place on Saturday, 29 August. Individual contestants will have 60 minutes to prepare five plates of a modern pasta dish combining Western techniques with Thai ingredients or flavours.

The winner will receive THB 10,000, with THB 8,000 for the first runner-up and THB 5,000 for the second runner-up.

The Modern Som Tam Performance competition will be held later the same day. Teams of three will have 45 minutes to create five plates of a contemporary som tam dish reflecting Hua Hin and Thailand’s coastal food culture.

Each dish must include at least two Thai or locally sourced ingredients. The prizes will again be THB 10,000, THB 8,000 and THB 5,000.

The Hua Hin Chef’s Table competition will be held on Sunday, 30 August. Four teams of three will have 120 minutes to prepare an appetiser, main course and dessert.

The winning team will receive THB 20,000, followed by THB 15,000 for second place, THB 10,000 for third and THB 8,000 for fourth.
