Pattaya City Council Reviews Final Day of 2027 Budget Draft
PATTAYA, Thailand – August 11th, 2026 – Mr. Phraiwan Aromchuen, President of the Pattaya City Council, chaired the final day of deliberations on the draft ordinance for the annual expenditure budget for Fiscal Year 2027 (B.E. 2570).
The meeting was attended by the Pattaya City executive team led by Mayor Poramese Ngamphichet, deputy mayors, members of the Pattaya City Council, and heads of government agencies under the leadership of the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City, bureau directors, and relevant officials. The session was held in Meeting Room 401 at Pattaya City Hall.
Discussions focused on the detailed plans and budget allocations for the social welfare plan, the housing and community plan, and the budget of the Finance Bureau for the Koh Larn area. Particular attention was given to the proposed purchase of boats to support operational missions and enhance the efficiency of public services and official duties on Koh Larn.
The budget review focused on aligning allocations with the city’s core missions and the needs of residents. Coverage spans public utilities, education, public health, tourism, social welfare, and quality-of-life development, with a strong focus on ensuring that spending is cost-effective, transparent, and delivers maximum benefit to the public.
This final day of consideration of the Fiscal Year 2027 draft budget ordinance represents a critical step in scrutinizing budget details.
