Pattaya Deputy Mayor Inspects New Marine Rescue Boats and CCTV System at Bali Hai
PATTAYA
On the 13th of August 2026, Pattaya City Deputy Mayor Mr. Kritsana Boonsawat visited the Lam Bali Hai Marine Rescue Center to oversee the acceptance inspection of two new marine rescue boats. The vessels will enhance the city’s readiness to assist residents and tourists during water-related emergencies.
Mr. Komkrit Phonwichit, Director of the Disaster Prevention Division, welcomed the deputy mayor.

Following the boat inspection, Mr. Kritsana examined the marine safety CCTV control room, which operates 36 cameras covering the stretch from in front of the Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel to the Lighthouse Cape and Bali Hai Pier. The system enables officers to closely monitor conditions and maintain maritime safety.
The visit is to strengthen preparedness through both additional rescue boats and an improved surveillance network, allowing faster and more effective responses. These measures are intended to boost confidence in safety for the public and visitors to Pattaya.
