Pattaya Community Development Committee Holds Meeting to Advance Local Projects and Support Vulnerable Groups
PATTAYA
The Community Development and Social Welfare Committee of Pattaya City Council held a meeting on 13 August 2569 (2026), chaired by Mr. Jirawat Plukjai, a Pattaya City Council member and committee chairman.
Committee members, heads of relevant municipal agencies led by Ms. Panrada Attohi, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City, and other officials attended the session. Deputy Mayor Mr. Damrongkiat Pinijkarn and Mr. Suriwat Roemkitchakan, Assistant Secretary to the Mayor, observed the proceedings in Meeting Room 251 at Pattaya City Hall.

The meeting focused on operational guidelines and the advancement of community development projects. Participants reviewed the utilisation of the 2569 fiscal year budget and began planning activities for the following year. Officials from the Social Welfare Office presented reports on the current situation in various areas, along with problems and obstacles encountered in their work, enabling the committee to jointly consider appropriate solutions.
Deputy Mayor Damrongkiat stressed the importance of integrated cooperation among relevant agencies to assist homeless people in accessing their rights and welfare benefits. He called for systematic approaches to resolving these issues while continuously improving the quality of life for residents in local communities.

The committee reaffirmed its commitment to driving community development work in line with the needs of the public, promoting local participation, and pushing forward concrete projects, such as the community public address system initiative, to deliver tangible benefits, elevate living standards, and strengthen communities across Pattaya City.
