Pattaya Officials Inspect School Lunch Program at Pattaya City School 3
Pattaya, August 5th, 2026 — Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City Mr. Kritsana Boonsawat, accompanied by Deputy Chairman of the Pattaya City Council Mr. Anupong Phutthanawarat, conducted an on-site inspection of the school lunch program at Pattaya City School 3 (Wat Sawang Fa Phuttharam). They were welcomed by school principal Dr. Suree Wanna, who guided them through the nutritional operations and management of midday meals for students.

Pattaya City maintains a policy of allocating budget support for the school lunch and supplementary milk programs for every student in schools under its jurisdiction. The initiative prioritizes nutritious meals that meet hygiene standards and comply with government guidelines, with ongoing monitoring of cleanliness, portion sizes, and food quality.
The school currently has 1,200 students. Lunch is served in three shifts: 10:30 a.m. for kindergarten levels 1–3, 11:00 a.m. for primary grades 1–3, and 11:30 a.m. for primary grades 4–6 and secondary grades 1–3.

During the inspection, officials found that the school prepares weekly menus in advance and posts them for parents and students to review. Fresh fruit or dessert is rotated daily. All meals are cooked fresh and served in covered containers to prevent contamination and insects. Students may request additional portions if still hungry.
The inspection confirmed that the school’s lunch management is efficient. Meals are of high quality, clean, nutritionally balanced, and well-received by students. These findings are part of Pattaya City’s commitment to improving young people’s quality of life and supporting healthy growth through comprehensive nutritional care, ensuring every student has access to quality food in a safe learning environment.

Deputy Mayor Kritsana Boonsawat also reviewed the condition of school buildings and restrooms. Facilities were found to have been renovated and maintained in good condition, clean, safe, and suitable for student use.
