The United Madaris Council also rejected any attempts to associate religious seminaries, mosques, scholars, or students with activities that are considered anti-state. According to the spokesperson, madaris and religious institutions have no connection with actions that undermine the interests of the state or threaten national stability. He explained that religious seminaries across Pakistan are dedicated to providing Islamic education, promoting moral values, and serving society through peaceful means. The council believes that these institutions play an important role in educating students, strengthening ethical values, and fostering religious harmony. The spokesperson also expressed concern over the use of the names of madaris, mosques, religious scholars, and students in political campaigns or partisan debates. He stated that involving religious institutions in political controversies is unfair and creates unnecessary misunderstandings about their role in society. Another objection concerned accused persons who had already been acquitted in the cases. According to the prosecution, the police challans failed to provide details about those acquittals. The police were therefore instructed to attach copies of the relevant acquittal orders to the case records so that the challans contain complete information about all accused persons and the outcome of proceedings against them. The prosecutor directed the investigating authorities to address all the objections before resubmitting the documents. The revised interim challans will be presented to the prosecution after the required amendments and additional records have been included. The development comes as legal proceedings continue in the three drug cases against Anmol Pinky. The prosecution’s objections mean that the interim challans have not yet been accepted in their submitted form and must first be corrected according to the instructions issued by the prosecutor.

The law places greater emphasis on supporting students with disabilities by requiring schools to provide suitable educational services, assistive technology and assessment methods that match individual learning needs. It also strengthens programmes for gifted students through specialized schools, enrichment centers, improved identification systems, teacher training and partnerships with universities and research institutions. Private schools will face stricter quality standards under the reforms. Educational institutions must obtain accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission or another internationally recognized accreditation body approved by Saudi authorities. The Ministry of Education will oversee licensing procedures, ownership transfers, school operations and the introduction of international curricula while ensuring that subjects related to national identity remain part of every approved curriculum. The new rules also introduce a clearer process for education licences. Applications must receive a written decision within 30 days, and institutions whose applications are rejected will have the right to appeal. Serious violations could result in dismissal and permanent disqualification from working in the education sector. Private schools that fail to comply with the law may receive warnings, face financial penalties, lose the right to admit new students or have their operating licences revoked. If a licence is cancelled, the school must ensure that enrolled students are able to complete the academic year without disruption at the owner’s expense.

The agency said that no arrests were made during the operation because the foreign and local suspects allegedly involved in the activities were not present at the call center when the raid was conducted. The seized digital equipment has been sent to a forensic laboratory for detailed examination. Investigators are expected to analyze the devices and other material to determine their connection with the suspected cybercrime activities. The NCCIA said that further details would be shared once the forensic examination and investigation are completed. The agency did not disclose the identities of the individuals allegedly associated with the call center. Authorities have increasingly focused on online fraud, fake call centers and digital networks allegedly involved in financial and cyber-related crimes. The NCCIA stated that action against fraudulent operations, fake call centers and online fraud networks would continue without discrimination. The Islamabad call center raid is part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to identify and investigate networks suspected of using digital platforms for illegal activities.
