Younger Sister of Murdered Thai Family Speaks Tearfully After Police Discover the Burial Site through Murdered Russian Siblings Case Near Pattaya
Huai Yai-
The younger sister of three family members killed in a brutal robbery-murder has spoken through tears after police, expanding their investigation from a separate murder case involving two young Russian siblings, uncovered the victims’ burial site after arresting the suspects who confessed.
The family had searched tirelessly for about a month after reporting the three missing people, father, mother and daughter, to Huai Yai Police Station on 27 June 2026. The case showed little progress until investigators broadened their probe into the disappearance of two Russian siblings.

According to the investigation, a suspect identified as Mr. Pong confessed that he, together with three accomplices named Mr. Thong, Mr. Ball and Mr. Fluke, forced their way into the family’s home to rob them and then murdered all three. Mr. Pong claimed he personally shot the father, Mr. Wichian, with a firearm. He alleged that Mr. Ball killed the mother and daughter. The group then dug a pit roughly three metres deep inside a coconut grove, brought the victims one by one to the site, shot them again, kicked their bodies into the hole and buried the three corpses on top of one another.

Ms. Prisana, the younger sister of one of the victims, broke down in tears as she described the family’s ordeal. Throughout the long search, she said, relatives had clung to the hope that the three were still alive. That hope ended when officers, following leads from the expanded investigation, discovered the burial site and confirmed the grim outcome.

Our condolences to the family and friends of the victims.
