“As a restorer of over 100 vintage trailers I can comment on the lack of a bathroom. As I understand it, many states banned full bathrooms in trailers until 1953. That was due to fears that people would just let them dump to the ground in parks, so the intention was to have them use bath houses at the campground or park. “That’s legit and 100% original IMHO. Worked at a Schwinn shop as a kid and put together a few of those. A lot of people (cool kids) ditched the front fender. That’s the original seat. Those are the original pedals. This is all recollection but very clear. . They were wheelie machines and no fun whatsoever to get up a hill! An early but awesome memory! GLWTA!”

“As a Kia enthusiast (yes, we exist), this is the holy grail. The looks you’d get for telling people what this is make it worth any expense. I’d rather have one of these over the Lotus version, just for that novelty. The stock drivetrain isn’t bad at all, but I can’t help but wonder how one of these would do with a modern Gamma 1.6 or 1.6T swap from Hyundai. In a way you’d keep it “in the family” but really liven it up. I don’t think there’s as many purists out there for the Kia version anyway.…”
