“Good memories on this BAT auction. We had a 2005 Freestar SES that we drove from 2005 to 2019. Had 250,000 miles. Sure, they sip more fuel than their diesel sisters, but the buy in price and cheapness of maintenance and repairs make it much less of an issue. I sold mine 5 years ago and have regretted it ever since. It towed a 12k 5er all over the west, no problem. Uggh!”

“Merci beaucoup. The car will indeed be driven across Paris, France’s fantastic b-roads and through mountain passes in Europe, both as a cool family car and also for vintage car rallies & events that I love to go to or organise.”
