“My Dad was a district service manager for GM in the 90s and early 2000’s and as a part of that we would get a new demo car to drive every couple mos. After the dismal launch of the Aztec in 2000, GM wanted to get make the best out of a bad situation so they gave them to every service manager in the country to “get the word out”.
When I turned 16 and got my license, we got the Aztek. Bright yellow if I recall correctly, and rather than the usual 3 mos cycle, we had it for a full 7 mos.…”

“My Dad and I were at our local Ford dealer buying yet another LTD for family use back in the day. Our sales guy was working on my Dad’s most recent offer (a little game they played). A car carrier truck pulled up front at the dealership and our salesman got all crazy. He said his new ’71 Mach 1 was on the truck and would we mind if he took a minute to get it on the ground. Dad said sure and we all went out to see a very red Mach 1. They got it off the truck and the new owner was just giddy with…”

This is the genuine RCA sticker for parking lot, when Pat Ieraci owned this Volvo since it was new. Pat Ieraci was the influence with RCA to sign Jefferson Airplane. I emailed with (the late) Ieraci’s daughter. She remembered the Volvo with fondness and said her father dearly loved the car. We owned the Volvo and sold it to the present owner. My husband is a life-long master mechanic and…”

“This 599 is an earlier production as in the later production for 2007 the ceramic brakes became standard. Also, Ferrari jacked up the base price from $258k to $321k base price. Significantly increased the cost. These cars are appreciating fast. F-1 transmission is a very nice transmission in my opinion even though general public prefers the clutch version. Good luck.”

    “A layman’s view.
In 1987, at the age of 27, I quit my job and travelled to Europe for my 1st time for a 6-month adventure. After skiing a few areas in the Alps, I made my way north, as far as Bergen, Norway. Summer had arrived, and I wanted to have some beach fun.
The section on France in the Frommer’s Guide had many pages on the Mediterranean Coast, but few on the Atlantic.
I decided on a road less travelled, the Atlantic. To my pleasant surprise, I discovered a magnificent area…”

It was hands down a superior car in terms of handling and horsepower. Every time I see one I’m taken back to the driving portion of the academy. Fond memories.”

One such piece of advice was to avoid purchase of BMWs with two-stage metallic paint due to failure of the clear coat.
