“I was a dispatcher at Greyhound in the 80s just after the last Buffalos were retired. One thing you used to see in ads for used buses was “Never a Greyhound,” meant to say it was never thrashed in daily Dog service and probably wouldn’t have chicken bones shoved into all the heater outlets. Looks like a nice bus.

“Fun memory. I purchased a very clean, low milage `64 Galaxie 500XL
R-Code 427 4 speed when I returned from Vietnam in `67.
Paid $1700, 59 years ago, when these were just very nice “Used Cars”.
Now, these survivors are the best of the full size “Muscle Cars” extant.”

“Great looking e28 that has been dialed in the way all e28s should be dialed in, starting with euro bumpers and properly lowered suspension. 👏
You’d be hard pressed to find better wheels for an e28 than the 16″ BBS RX wheels.
The crack free dash is also a bonus, as is the top end motor refresh just a few thousand miles ago.
The Recaros alone are worth between two and five thousand dollars in case someone wanted to replace them with e28 sport seats.

“My son was racing our Datsun roadster in D Production one of the times Paul ran in the same class at Daytona. He wandered up to our crew working on our roadsturd. His crew had sent him to borrow a multimeter. He would just show up and pay the late regristration fees so everyones crew wouldn’t be packed with “crew” there just to catch a look at him as a star. I think he enjoyed just being one of us club racers. Very pleasant to talk to. He wasn’t in a hurry to get back to his crew who might have…”
