“Pontiac sure had some pretty cars in the Sixties. They’ve aged well too. Great to see two Pontiac B Bodies with three pedals on BaT in the same week… how unusual is that?
This car would have a circle of admirers at every Cars and Coffee you drove it to… elegant and much less common than the A Body cars of the era. Truly the “executives’ hot rod” especially with a four-speed.

“Quick comment here! See the white sticker on the bottom corner of the windshield on driver’s side? This is the genuine RCA sticker for parking lot, when Pat Ieraci owned this Volvo since it was new. Pat Ieraci was the influence with RCA to sign Jefferson Airplane. I emailed with (the late) Ieraci’s daughter. She remembered the Volvo with fondness and said her father dearly loved the car. 1. Light gray colored dash panels
2. Passenger airbag has Supra name on it
3. VVTi featured on the 2JZ-GE engine (first time we see it before IS300)

“These cars are just great. I bought a 2024 manual on a whim last year and have zero regrets. They do it all so well. My fair weather daily drivers last summer were this Golf, a 2018 GT3 Touring, and my venerable 993. For regular use, the Golf is ~80% of the fun of the GT3 for 20% of the money. Sold the GT3 shortly thereafter just because I prefer the Golf. Will never sell the 993, though.”

“My heart skipped a beat when I saw this. My first job out of college was working for TDM in Livonia MI which later became Wheel to Wheel a prototype shop for GM’s Jon Moss. We built a 383 6spd SS with a rollcage for GM Special Vehicles to do high speed testing at MIS. I don’t think this is that car but always wondered what happened to it and many others. Great first engineering job for a young gear head.”
