The original Avanti is hard to improve on. Like the E-Type, I consider the original car one of the stand out designs of the 20th century.
Over the past 60 years however, improvements in suspension, brakes, and powertrain have made thoughtful enhancements to the original design very desirable.

“………..calypso red 740i. That sparked a two year search for the “right for me” e38. I was very lucky to find a 2001 740i sport with only 27k miles, which is still sitting in my garage with approx. 30k miles. It still brings me back to the memory of the calypso red e38 in the showroom and the love affair continues.”
