“There are a total of 9 known carbon fiber bodied CSX Cobras out of the 10 planned (the registry incorrectly lists 7) and CSX4000R is incorrectly entered without mention of the carbon body. I am a lucky to own one of those 9 carbon Cobras.

“In the summer of 1971, my parents took my brother, sister and me across country in a 67 Camaro 327 Sport Coupe towing a U-Haul covered trailer from Los Angeles to New Jersey. We were 13, 11 and 6 years old and it was tight back there, but an adventure. So yeah, people put a hitch on anything with a V8 back in the day. Beautiful car. “Somewhat related, gearhead Nick Mason (Pink Floyd) took part in a documentary “La Carrera Panamericana” in the early 1990s, which is just awesome. Wonderful cinematography of the actual race, with Pink Floyd as the soundtrack.
I stumbled upon the VHS in a bargain bin in the mid-’90s, but it’s all over YouTube now.
