“This was my Dad’s car. I learned to drive a stick in this car and took my drivers test for my license. He and I worked on it together and we would race through the mountains. When he was over seas, my mom and I had to drive it weekly to keep it running. both of my parents are in heaven. My mom is looking down at me, saying what in the hell are you thinking? “I was fortunate enough to be able to watch Chuck Wray’s shop prepare a Bizzarrini for Pebble Beach, years ago- I think it was 2003. It came second in the Giugiaro class, which (of course) was judged by Giugiaro; best in class was a Ghibli, which he mentioned was his favorite of his designs. The level of meticulous work and knowledge at Chuck’s shop has to be seen to be believed. As Frank said, back then not many knew that these cars even existed. Nice to see them getting their propers.”
