“I own both a Ghibli and a Daytona and although I really like the Daytona the Ghibli is my go to car for long drives or if I anticipate stop and go traffic. Both cars have beautiful lines. The Ghibli is more reliable and more user friendly. The steering wheel can be adjusted up/down and the seat back is adjustable. No such luck on the Daytona. This car has power steering while the Daytona feels like a truck at slow speed.

“Lauterbach hulls are indeed special as is the family. Thanks for the heads up about the book and reunion. If there was a way to get to the event it sure would be fun.
Back in the 1970’s on Seattles Green Lake were some special times. We would sit on the beach with a battery operated B&W 2 inch TV screen watching Indy and at the same time enjoy the boat races. “Whoever gets this car is getting a winner. Early 99 builds are the pinnacle of the analog porsche experience. I have a similar cab as a daily driver and it is simply divine. Despite the fact that these are the lower priced Porsches in market, it simply makes it a genius value buy. The best water-cooled setup, analog pulls and cables, and (for my spec) no nannies. “Such a time warp, this is so cool, and seeing it on that trailer reminds me of all the old Drag Racing photos i have seen in books, and magazines from back in the day, someone is going the opportunity to get a very cool piece of nostalgia today. I have always loved Dusters, when I was 3 years old, 1973, my parents had an Orange 1971 340 Duster, its the first classic car I remember when I was a kid.
