Married in 1965 and sold the Avanti get a car with a bench seat for our daughter’ s car seat. I have known where my original car is but have tried unsuccessfully for 30 years to buy it. When this car came along, I said what the heck. I’m excited to have a supercharged car and relieve some old memories. That is a lot of what the old car hobby is about.”

The car is a blast to drive and I will miss it. The only reason I have for selling it is that I am getting old and I still have a bucket list of cars that I would like to own before it is too late. “My wife & I got married in July 1978. We packed her little red Chevette to the hilt with all of our wedding gifts and drove from Chicago to Houston with only gas stops along the way. Took us 24 hours! After a few years the drivers floor pan rusted through. A sheet of 3/8 plywood cut to size fixed that. It was no longer the Fred Flintstone mobile!
