“Lauterbach hulls are indeed special as is the family. Thanks for the heads up about the book and reunion. If there was a way to get to the event it sure would be fun.
Back in the 1970’s on Seattles Green Lake were some special times. We would sit on the beach with a battery operated B&W 2 inch TV screen watching Indy and at the same time enjoy the boat races. Some hard core racing with Larry Lauterbach and then Tom D’Eath piloting Lauterbach hulls against John Leach’s Buccaneer.…”

“My great grandmother was one of the first VW owners in Montana. I think she was on her third VW when she purchased one just like this, same color, in 1962-63, from the dealer in Butte. By this time, my great grandfather had stopped driving, so she drove them everywhere.
