“I remember growing up in the 90s and early 2000s watching this series on speedvision, cable channel 53 back then. Kinda brings back memories of the real time integra type r from back in that era as well. Great memories.”

“I remember back in the mid to late 80s, collectors were buying big blocks C2’s, but stayed away from split windows, telling everybody nobody wants them, hard to see out of the back, blah, blah blah! Funny how times have changed.
    Beautiful Car, GLWTA!”

“In 1967, my dad informed me that he had purchased, with my savings, 1960 Falcon with 60K miles for $325.00.
While it would not have been my choice, I was excited to enter the world of independence from walking, bicycling and public transportation.
The 144 ci engine didn’t last long with my heavy foot and the constant diet of re-refined oil I fed it from our local Site gas station.
I found a 260 at the junk yard and that was a great improvement.
The original radiator did not like the 260, so…”

“For those wondering, here’s the lowdown. This car completes my 69 Chevy SS matching numbers collection. They’re getting so hard to find and I had the privilege of driving this one last week. Well represented by the seller and I have my own body shop. Its new home is 100 miles west of the seller in Washington State. It will be restored to factory spec. Thanks for reading.”

“I’ve always thought the ’69 Camaro is one of the most perfectly styled cars of the era, particularly as an RS Z/28. @BlackMountainMotorworks did the right thing by including a number of side profile photos. (Surprising how many sellers don’t!) The color on this one is fantastic, worthy of a poster.
Being an early Trans Am Series fan I was thrilled to get close to the Penske/Donahue #6 racer at an 80’s Walter Mitty. I have a packet of photos I keep aside so I can easily remind myself.…”

“I remember this model. It signaled to many that Hyundai was becoming a serious car company, at a time when some early Excels were still running around leaving clouds of blue oil smoke behind them. The Tiburon could have had Honda badges and nobody might have been the wiser.
Oh, one little “cheeky” thing, as the Brits like to say. Notice the faux intake runners on that plastic engine cover. (Photo #104.) At casual glance, it’s suggesting that the engine is in there longitudinally, perhaps even…”

“WOODIE TRIP — DIARY OUTTAKES | DAY FIFTEEN – FINAL DAY
    Wednesday , September 6th
The trip from Alpine home was the hardest part. Hugh kept driving faster and faster, and we were so anxious to get there. The only notes I have read like this: “Can finally sit down on the toilet seat!! No more wake-up calls. No unpacking and packing car every day. We’re home!!!””

“In August 1981 at the Laguna Seca raceway, Briggs Cunningham was the guest of honor. He brought a good number of the original race cars to the track for that weekend and invited all the drivers and mechanics that had driven for him over the years for a weekend reunion. My father was one of those drivers. He and I rode our motorcycles from the Midwest out to California, timing it so that he could be there for the commemorative weekend. Mr. Cunningham assigned the C4 roadster to Fred Wacker to be…”

Tombo69 commented on Individual Velvet Blue Metallic 2026 BMW M2 CS

“When you are doing one of these cars, NEVER bond the bare steel cage without replacing the zinc chromate primer. That is a valid and strong corrosion inhibitor, used in aviation since the 1930’s. Today the cheap and easy way is to go to Aircraft Spuce and order the primer in rattlecan, but for a restoration of a C2 coupe, there is a hundred year upgrade. Consolidated Coatings of Riverside CA makes aircraft polyurethane in “yellow zinc” and “green zinc” colors for WWII aircraft restoration.…”

Everything runs smoothly, looks sharp, and feels road-ready without a worry. If you’re looking for a motorhome that’s been treated with pride and attention to detail, this one is a rare find. I’ve owned my 97 C4S for 15 years, she just rolled 135k, up from 63k at acquisition. These cars are just such an experience, just so immensely satisfying to drive…and to own.
Good luck to the seller, and fair notice to potential bidders….well sorted, long term owner, well “driven” 993’s are more scarce by the year. This car will continue to turn heads, and…”
