“I was a teenager HS student working at the corner service station. We had a local Dr that had one of these, his was the beautiful dark blue with matching padded top. He would pull in for gas, 27 gallon tank. After putting the car in “Park” he would tilt the wheel which would almost go horizontal on these and throw a small towel that covered the wheel from rim edge to edge. Gas up. “As a restorer of over 100 vintage trailers I can comment on the lack of a bathroom. As I understand it, many states banned full bathrooms in trailers until 1953. That was due to fears that people would just let them dump to the ground in parks, so the intention was to have them use bath houses at the campground or park. If they did have a toilet, they didn’t have holding tanks, they had to be hooked to a sewer system… mostly designed as park models that were semi-permanently set. Toilets…”

“On my dog walks about once every two weeks, only on sunny days, a 442 that looks to be identical to this car drives by me. I’ve yet to be able to check out the car up close. “I have this near identical car. Patina’d sahara, warmed over M10, goldish wheels, mint interior, same rust spots, and even the same roof rack. Out of my small fleet, this one gives me more smiles per gallon than the rest.
Having an engine done by Korman is a real nice bonus. Ray has a great shop and is a top tier engine and restoration shop. Hopefully the next new owner can show it off at At The Vintage event in Maggie Valley this weekend.”

“Wynonna is her name – yes, I am one of those car owners. I bought her from my elderly neighbor who needed a smaller car when she moved in with her children, but the dealerships would not offer her half the NADA guide price in trade, so I paid the NADA price. I knew the history of the car and the mechanic who serviced Wynonna since the early 1990s, but who retired in 2025. He is an AACA member and always at the Hershey Eastern Fall Meet as well as some of the Carlisle Car Show events.…”

Our technicians during that time and during 2023 and 2021 records are all former trained factory Lamborghini guys. You can look them up!
